There was obviously a great deal of thought and effort as well as some great comedic talent involved in the making of this movie. It's funny, heart-warming and quite entertaining. It's a good enough movie that I would watch it over and over, share it with friends and family.

As a mother of 4 kids this movie was a must have for our kids entertainment movie collection. The story line was great and very funny. My kids were wondering if the acts that the animals did on the movie were done by our dog and cat when they were left alone in the house. You won't go wrong by owing this movie if you love animals.

If you have a pet or have ever owned a pet, then this movie is for you! We all sat down in front of the big screen TV and watched this movie over the Christmas holidays, both young and old, from ages 4 to 71, all 16 of us and thoroughly enjoyed this movie. At times, even laughed out loud!! Loved it!! (Especially the Dachshund!).

I went to see the movie with my grandchild and i think I enjoyed the movie more than she did, which she thoroughly enjoyed. She even wants to go back and see the movie again, and I will be glad to take her. I'm sure now that I bought the movie, she'll probably wear it out watching it over and over again. Again, another classic.

I was pleasantly surprised with the movie, I have watched it at least three times, even though I know the punchline, the humor still makes me laugh. I smile and feel good when I see things in the real world that this movie reminds me of. Sometimes I just put it on and watch certain parts to cheer me up. Excellent movie!!!

Decently entertaining movie particularly for those seeking a family friendly movie or for animal lovers. One of the few 3d movies with an aspect ratio suitable to fill the whole screen without black bars at the top and bottom. My primary reason for purchase was for 3d and while there is decent depth added throughout; there are relatively few scenes where objects really pop out of the screen for the ultimate 3d wow factor and I did notice some ghosting with my active 3d set up

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my wife. We both love this movie! We may be 40 years old, and this may be a children's movie, but we enjoy it as much as if we were kids! Would recommend it to anyone! No matter how young or old!

The movie was fun and cute with silly humor. I really enjoyed it! Owning a dog of my own in a big city, I related to the human character. I always wondered what my dog does when I leave for work everyday. It was interesting to see someone's imagination of a day in our pet's lives. If you have an animal, it's a must see!

My wife and I purchased this DVD particularly for our grandchildren to watch on days when the weather prevented us from being outside enjoying outdoor activities. We found that we enjoyed watching the movie with the youngsters (6 year olds), and have watched it several times since making the purchase.

occasional toilet humor doesn't ruin this good-hearted, pro-pet flick, one that also reminds us humans not to make hasty decisions or sidestep responsibilities when it comes to the animals we adopt. And the movie promotes that message while pointing out just how great a loving pet-and-owner bond can be. In the end, The Secret Life of Pets kinda sorta makes you want to wag your tail, even if you aren't a chitchatting kitty or a palavering pooch.

Great movie, especially to watch with the kids. If you own a 3D setup this is a must have and I'm highly disappointed to see the drop off in 3D blu-ray releases. Most new ones I have to purchase region free from another country.

I purchased The Secret Life of Pets as a Christmas gift for my daughter. I haven't seen the movie but she has two dogs that she believes think like humans, so I thought she would enjoy it. She texted me after they'd watched the movie and said that it was very good! She said she would never look at her dogs the same way

I received the DVD faster than expected, which is always nice, and the case was fully intact (no broken off pieces and the spine was not torn). All in all, well packaged and delivered before expected date and time.

Note a review for the movie itself, but what you get for the purchase. This is the normal BD/DVD/Digital package. Picture quality is great and sound is as good as it can get for an animated movie. Extras include 3 mini movies and standard fare of featurettes. Got the movie on sale so its was definitely a good buy.

"The Secret Life of Pets" is so delightful and hilarious the viewer will definitely want to watch this movie more than once. There are many underlying themes of love, friendship, and pet rescue that will resonate with the viewer; but in the end, it is the cleverness and humor which make this movie a top DVD pick.

In the past, I've owned a dog, a cat and 2 Parakeets. OMG!!!! If the animals in this movie didn't remind me of past times with them. I bought it for my kids & i think I have as much fun watching it as they do. If you've ever owned a pet, this movie needs to be in your collection.This was a classic purchase for me.

My kids love all things animals and this didn't disappoint. The main 'bad guy' (the bunny), is a little much at times. There is also a fair amount of violence. So, you may want to tread carefully if you have young children. For us, we saw it in the movies and it was a no brainer to get when it came out on DVD.

This was a great kids film. The psychotic rabbit and the cute fluffy white female dog (that could sometimes be a bully), were my favorite characters. The voice actor for that little female dog used the perfect voice for her, which made me instantly fall in love with her character. As for the psychotic rabbit, he was the life of the movie. He had the personality of a Mob Boss from some of those old school gangsta movies from back in the day. Really funny.

The Secret Life of Pets is awesome movie, even for adults. Being a dachshund lover myself, I wish that Buddy had a bigger role, but it's a great and funny movie regardless. Some of the humor is adult oriented, so kids may not quite understand the dialogue, but it's still great for the whole family.

Thought they'd get away with it. Those innocent looks aren't going to work on us when we confront them asking who made this mess. Not anymore. Now we have the proof. A great family movie which the kids love. But watch out - the kids may start blaming their messes on your pets after they've seen this. LOL!!!
