This has been one of my favorite animated movies for many years and I remember when it first came out it was listed as the best Disney movie that Disney never did. The animation by Don Bluth is stunning and the story is memorable and quotable. I would have preferred a widescreen version of this but that seems impossible to find. Truthfully, I have never watched NIMH II but it comes along for the same price. You can't really lose on this.

Watched this toon with my siblings when I was younger but of course with them in my ears I could not understand what the movie was really about. I bought this movie and watched it and finally understood. This is a great movie to watch with your children.

This is one of those classic movies that we had to get but after watching it I must say it seemed more vicious than I remembered it being. I wouldn't recommend it for little kids... maybe over 10? Still a good overall plot geared more for adults and teens. Yes all this in a mouse movie.

This is a classic! We watched this movie many years ago when my kids were little, now my grandson is enjoying it as much as his father did at that age!

I have positive memories of my sons and I watching his movie after reading the book. Now my granddaughter has the movie to watch and is rereading the book.

The colors and motion of these movies mesmerized my infant son during many sleepless nights. Now I get to share them with his daughter. What a joy!!!

My 4 year old daughter really enjoyed this movie. She didn't think it was too scary and the content was appropriate for her age group.

It was nice to watch this great movie that I watched when I was a kid with my child. It is a little dark for the young ones but has none of the language issues current kids movies have.

This took me back when I finally re-watched it. Good to see that in the past there was't so much sheltering done with kid's shows. Also, Don DeLouis is a voice in the tale.

Used to watch this when my children were babies. We still enjoy watching it together after all these years!
