I remember watching this as a child, but I must not have paid much attention as I don't recall any of the stories. I do recall the credits though. It is interesting that Doctors from the UCLA education department are listed in them. The show is not that educational. The best part of the show is actually the opening where they show the heiroglyphics and have the wizard presenting the Isis necklace to his queen. The main problem is our hero would change to Isis for any reason. A lesser problem is that she doesn't change *into* Isis, but into a character who has the powers of Isis, and names herself by the goddess of the same name. The Dvd comes with an episode of Freedom Force, a cartoon of a group of heroes that included Isis that I recall as well. Filmation did Secrets of Isis, so if you are aware of their other properties, this is more of the same. If you don't, where have you been? They did the Archies, Star Trek (animated), among many others. There is no "origin" episode or explanation why the girl must have the necklace exposed and arms stretched out exclaiming "oh mighty Isis," for the transformation to take place, but the show is still fun to watch after all these years. I don't think kids today over the age of 7 would get much interest out of the show today, and the show is actually over the heads of kids under 7. But the DVD is still fun to watch.

As a kid this was one of my favorite show that was on around 12pm every saturaday mourning and the best part about the series is that it told a story with a good lesson for every kid to learn. This is a great part of any kids history and it shows how watching shows like this one can really teach a kid about doing the right things in life. This is a must for any parent who wants there kids or kid watching a good clean show.
