I watched this on TV and loved it so much I bought the season on disc. If you like Game of Thrones/Lord of Rings type fantasy then this is the series for you! The characters are interesting. The dialogue is engaging. The story line is excellent. The series overall is very well produced and I was amazed how well it made on a television budget. I highly recommend to anyone interested that they give this series a try!!

Good Basic cable fantasy Show and Cheap price, The first season Is better than 2 than season . I compare it to shows as The Outpost but better. Note adapted for MTV A Basic cable Ch. not be same as The novels. I enjoy the show story A quest To prevent A magic tree from dying. They put a lot effort make show If see the bonus content.

I literally saw this at the store and decided to get it on a whim. This show is stunningly beautiful, follows the second book in the Shannara series pretty closely, and has some great talent. You won't be disappointed. Think Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings mixed together with teenagers as the focus.
