Was glad to see the Shining in real 4k. One of my all time favorite horror movies. The real 4k makes this movie seem like its a new movie. More detail to see. Love it. If you are a fan of the Shining don't hesitate to buy it . Good price as well.

This classic movie has always been a favorite of mine. I was excited to be able to share this experience with my wife who had never seen it. Now this wonderful journey can be shared with my entire family in beautiful 4K glory. Amazing!!!!

Great suspenseful movie. They don't make them like they use to. The movie is more of a psychological profile than the book. This Blu-ray version comes with 2 short retrospective films discussing the making of the movie. I recommend this.

The Shining is a classic movie by Stanley Kubrick. It is absolutely stunning in 4K. The Restoration is fantastic! I was lucky to find the Steelbook edition. Perfect purchase for Halloween, and a classic movie that can be watched anytime.

This is an amazing classic horror movie. One of Jack Nicholson’s most famous movie roles. It stands the test of time and is a movie that can be watched more than one time even to this day. I highly recommend this movie to all horror fans.

Wanna get scared? Watch this one. It starts out kinda slow, but keep with it. See what goes on during the winter at a closed motel for the season. Don't let it turn you into a madman. See an ordinary man turn against his family for some odd reason.

I saw this movie a few years ago in its entirety and its surely disturbing. Watching it on a bigger 4K TV and on a 4K disc made the experience much better. This movie is also full screen so I definitely recommend getting it in 4K.

Kubrick's direction is outstanding, the performances are excellent and the picture quality in 4K/HDR is amazing. Kubrick was ahead of his time, but the picture quality in 4K helps the movie hold up even more than it already did.

This movie still holds up, and the packaging here is really nice too. Very happy with this (but part of that is because I paid with points, because $35 for a movie is a high ticket, even if the movie is worth seeing again).

A true classic of the horror genre. Some may consider it slow-paced but it adds to the atmosphere and sense of dread in the film. 4K quality is surprisingly good, given that this film was originally released in 1980.

One of the most classic horror films ever made and it's only getting better with time! I haven't looked at this 4k version yet but from reading the other reviews I trust the visual and sound quality will be stunning.

The Shining came out in 1980 and it was great even then. But the improvement in the sound and picture will blow any fan of the movie away. I got BestBuy's Steelbook copy. It looks great and comes with a digital copy.

Seen this numerous times but not like this! The studio has done right by this release.. too bad an unnecessary sequel will exploit this soon. They certain don’t make em like this any more and probably won’t. Well done

I love The Shining, so when I learned that it was on sale on Black Friday, I had to grab it! I absolutely LOVED re-watching it in 4K! The film was crystal clear as was the sound. Plus, the sleeve art is AMAZING!

Stanley Kubrick's masterpiece, The Shining, is back in 4K. This is one of the newest batch of 4K remasters that should be one everyone's' must buy list. The color and transfer form film to 4K is breathtaking.
