these film makers did a lot with a small budget! a interesting story, acted well by the lead (and a Morpheus 2.0 Laurence Fishburne) with twists, turns and mystery. It sets the stage for the potentially more and I'd love to see what could be done with more money and creative investment.

This movie was not what I thought it would be. But it was still rather good if you can get past the opening 30 minutes or so because it is a tad slow, well it picks up from there with a great surprise ending. Rent it first . If you like it, you can always buy it later.

I was surprised and happy at how well they did with this movie. It wasn't what I thought it would be but I liked it a lot. I could see this may not be for everyone but if you can find it for a good sales price pick it up its worth it.

Alien abduction at its best. I really liked the characters in this movie but I hope there is a sequel. In Area 51 I suppose we started experimenting with them now it's their turn to experiment with us. Bye,bye earth.

The movie was pretty good. The special effects were very good. The movie had a cliff hanger ending which I will not say here. I just wish they had done a little more to flush out the ending a bit more

This was so much better than I expected it to be. Not an average genre film--it stretches quite a bit. Was constantly surprised, and always aware of an underlying trajectory. Definitely worth a look.

I am a big sci-fi fan and enjoyed this movie. It had a sense of mystery with an above average character development for the young male lead actor. Fishburn was mysterious and solid in his role also.

I took a leap of faith with this movie because I like the genre and while it wasn't the best thing since sliced bread...it did make for a decent Saturday night movie. The premise was good and the acting was above board but this probably would have been better suited to be a top rated tv show or mini-series.

I haven't watched the movie yet, I usually purchase Blu-Ray Disc for archiving purposes and usually Blu-Rays of Actors that do really well in most silver screen movies they partake in.

The Signal isn't bad. Has some elements of Dark City. Conceptually it works better than the execution. It was a bit slow making it hard to get fully involved. The CG effects aren't bad at all for what seems to be a relatively low budget film. It's probably going to be a one time viewing film for most people.

This is NOT light entertainment. This is NOT a popcorn flick. If you appreciate a film that takes the viewer on a thoughtful journey, you'll find this film rather stimulating.

a very entertaining sci-fi tale that has an ending most will never see coming (there were hints throughout the film that caused me to form a theory that was kind of close…)

The movie was a lot of thinking involved of what was going on. Mined blowing at the end. Very good plot but I felt it was rushed and left some open ended questions.

I loved this movie, but was let down by the ending. I'm still glad I bought it, i'll need to go back and watch it again to see if I can better accept the ending.

It’s a gorgeous movie. Director Eubank and cinematographer David Lanzenberg use the beautiful desolation of the landscape to heighten the otherworldly quality of the story, and they do a lot with a spare palette and relatively few characters. Indeed, while the lyrical flashbacks and montages to happier times often serve to pull us away from the main action, I found myself looking forward to them. It’s in such moments that The Signal connects, if it connects at all. Because the rest of it — from the specifics of our heroes’ escape to the designed-to-confuse dialogue to the allegedly big reveals of the finale — doesn’t feel of any real consequence. Well-shot and well-acted, The Signal is, at heart, a dumb movie gussied up to look like a smart one.

This movie has some really good twist, you are not quite sure what's going on until the end then it makes sense...Only true SciFi will get it...

Very original plot which had you guessing almost to the very end. It was a little too vague in places but overall a good SiFi offering.

This was a fairly good movie, but it had a small theater release & not much press. The special effects were not the best but it did have an interesting story line. The ending will surprise you & possibly disappoint

Nice Sci-fi movie, amazing ending. I really would like to see Laurence Fishbourne in more scifi movies...

This has some nice twists and turns it..can't give the plot away...but a pretty good elaborate alien (blank) movie
