    I Was Impressed!

I accidentally watched this film at a friends house. I watched it with little expectation, and I have to say I was really impressed. The only thing that could have brought more life to it was the acting. It was cool to see some of the same actors in both movies (I think that was the same black guy in Murderer that played Hector). The main character in Murderer did a great job in that movie, but his disgruntled worker scene in the Sirens could have been better directed. Overall, these guys made a great product. I hope they come out with more of these types of movies in the future. I've seen movies with huge budgets that don't come out looking as good as these. Whoever did the work, great job. I would love to see both of these movies played out as features. The special effects were awesome also!

Sure, these aren't big budget Hollywood productions, but some of best movies out there are made up of good stories and a smaller budget. The Festival of Horrors DVD is a good example. One scene in Murderer is particularly gorey, but that's part of the "fun" when it comes to horror movies! OVerall, an enjoyable low budget movie.

I liked it. I am a fan of indie B movies, and Festival of horrors is a fun throwback to the old low budget double features...filmed in "blood vision", that says it all.

Terrific value for the price. I love movies like this and getting a double feature for this price can't be beat!
