The Slave, also known as Son of Spartacus---I remember seeing this Steve Reeves Italian import film at a Saturday afternoon matinee' show at the Lodi Theatre in Lodi, CA, when I was just a tall, skinny-and-lanky, buck-toothed, impressionable kid of about 9 or 10-years old. I loved it. Of course, all the shrubbery around our house got whacked to bits by me and my brothers clod-hopping about with our wooden swords. It is considered to be the best one of the peplum film genre
PEPLUM https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peplum_(film_genre) that Steve Reeves did. I can hardly wait to see it again. It really was well-done for a "B" movie. We will see if it has held up under the test of time.
