    I bought this for my husband for Christmas and he loved it! It is one of his favorite movies.

    This is one of those classic westerns with characters you immediately have connection to. The basis is, their mother Katie Elder died and the sons have to discover why. The cast, acting, script and direction is top notch. I love the care Paramount put into the presentation of the video and audio. It is in mono but the sound is full and clean. The film is presented in it's original aspect ratio. Oh, the reason for the summary … it is in glorious color! This is a must have for any collection and especially for John Wayne fans. Dean Martin also has a fantastic performance. The villain is someone you wouldn't want to turn your back to.

    This is a older movie that I had previously seen, but my wife had not and I was delighted when I was able to purchase it from BestBuy at a good price so my wife and I can watch it anytime we want.

    Great movie with good characters and actors. John Wayne was very good in the movie. He was the leader of the siblings.

    This a typical John Wayne western from the 60s. I personally enjoy it, but it is only an okay movie, not a great movie. I would recommend it if you too enjoy John Wayne westerns from this time period.
