I remember during my childhood i have been watching this repeatedly and have memorized all the songs. I bought this copy for my kids to watch it and enjoy it as what i did when i was a kid. A very good classic musical movie

This is a classic movie that is outstanding! Julie Andrews has such a beautiful voice and portrays Maria so well. My granddaughters love this movie and they've been singing the songs ever since they saw it. Great family movie!

What can be said about The Sound of Music ... it's a classic! I first seen the movie when it came out with my family as a child and I've now added it to my Blue Ray collection. The little extras in this anniversary release is what made me purchase again.

I originally bought this only because my wife has always loved it and I wanted to watch it with her. Now that I've seen it I love it too, the music and thematic elements are incredible, and I don't know why I haven't seen it before now.

My wife was thrilled to see this Blu Ray rendition (which included the Digital code/version) was only $15. Couldn't pass that up. If you've never seen one of America's classic musicals, stop what you're doing right now and go get this.

I'm sure most people over the age of 30 have watched this movie at one time. If you haven't watched it on DVD, you must! It has been digitally remastered, extending a much better picture and feeling when watching the movie.

This classic is a must have for your movie library. Yes, it often plays for free on TV, but usually with a ton of commercials added in. Being able to enjoy it from start to finish without an additional 30 minutes of commercials makes it worth the cost.

Surely everyone everywhere has seen this movie. But it never seems to get old. Rodgers and Hammerstein at their best. Not historically quite accurate story of the von Trapps, but it's much-loved (by most, if not Christopher Plummer) for a reason.

Do yourself and your family a favor, put this bluray on, turn up the DTS sound and start singing. The larger the set with the HD will blow your mind how beautiful this movie really is. Tons of great stories and behind the scenes stuff it is amazing.

In my 28 years had not seen The Sound of Music so I decided it was time. This edition was beautiful, and has many great features including a documentary. I really enjoyed it, and it came at a great price too!

The original movie remastered (I think). I forget how long this movie is but it is still great. For all you Trekkies out there, this is General Chang in Star Trek Undiscovered Country. Star Trek is still a few of my favorite things

Such a classic movie, finally decided to buy it on dvd so our family can watch each and every year!

This is the best musical. I am so happy to have the 50th edition. I had it in other medias before and I'm excited to add this to my collection. Great movie. Love watching it over and over and never get tired of it.

"The Sound of Music" is one of the most uplifting movies for the entire family to watch together. The fact that it is now in Blu-ray with enhanced picture quality makes you feel that you're there with the family on their journey to freedom!

As the song goes in this great film "...the hills are alive with the sound of music.." and so is my new Vizo 4K. Great film to enjoy again and again. Sharp clear picture and sound. All time classic for the whole family

Love the music and comedy. Julie Andrews is so pretty and a great singer in the movie. All the acting was very good.

I first saw this movie in 1966 and this year bought the movie for my daughter and 5 year old granddaughter. Both enjoyed it again and again. My little granddaughter loved it just as much as the adults. Recommend it for people of all ages.

One of the all-time great R & H musicals looks and sounds great on blu ray! Contains a great bonus feature with Julie Andrews returning to Salzburg to reminisce about her experiences filming the motion picture. Highly recommended!!

A classic movie. I remember seeing this as a kid at my local theater and don't remember it looking this good. Beautiful visually and how can you not sing along with the Von Trapp family. Great film at a great price.
