At holiday time, this is the one movie we're sure to watch. Great cast, great songs! This version has an iTunes digital copy associated with it, as well as a bonus special of Julie Andrews returning to Salzburg, where the film was made.

This movie brings back happy memories of when my brother and aunt and I were children watching this with my mom and when she would wake us up in the middle of the night to watch it because she noticed it was on tv. I love this movie.

Good family entertainment is hard to find these days. I grew up on this movie and this collection is fantastic! Bluray and DVD plus all the little extras that come with it. Very nice collectors package for my children to share for years to come!

The Sound of Music remains one of the best, classic movies ever. Believe it or not, my roommates and I are college athletes and we watched the movie together. We are proud that this is one of "our favorite things." Great movie!!!

I used to watch this as a child with my mother. The Blu-Ray version is even better than I remember of the movie. My daughter (6 yo) and I watched it with the surround sound turned up :^) and she, like I; loved every minute.

this is one of my all time favorite movies, and this anniversary edition is the one to own if you don't already have the previews release from this film in blu ray. a great and lovely film about life and everything in between.

I finally got to purchase this movie on blu ray at a decent price. I haven't seen the movie in years, but it was perfect as if I was seeing it for the first time again.

Beautiful nostalgia from my childhood! My children love it! My husband could care less, except for the "My Favorite Things" song, which makes him break out into his impersonation of Will Ferrel's impersonation of Robert Goulet.

Loved this great classic. First owned it on a Beta video tape, then on VHS now so happy to have this timeless classic on DVD to cherish for several years.

This is truly a timeless classic movie. It brought me back to my childhood when my whole family would sit together each year around Easter time & watch it together. Looking forward to passing on the tradition!

The picture quality is astonishing on here. It looks like the movie just came out yesterday. The bonus disc has an amazing one hour long documentary that explores deeper into this masterpiece. Very impressed

It looks better than an older copy we have, so obviously, the digital remastering worked wonders. And it's a timeless classic that we like watching every now and again.

I was introduced to this movie by my mom. She loved it and I definitely enjoyed it as a child, and now as an adult after seeing live action Broadway adaptations. It's a great movie to share with the family.

Past years showed that Sound of Music will stand the test of time. On Blu-ray, the good stuff comes off even better. The extra on Julie Andrews returning to Salzburg, where it takes place, is a real treat.

If you love musicals you will love this movie! It is full of beautiful music, talented acting, gorgeous locations and a wonderful story! I bought it as a gift because I am hoping to spread the joy of the Sound of Music!

We purchased The Sound of Music 50th anniversary DVD for my dad for Father's Day this year. Dad later reported to me how great it was to relive their favorite moments in this movie without the interruption of commercials.

My wife has never seen this really great movie and I was delighted delighted to be able to add this classic movie to our movie collection and we are looking forward to viewing it whenever we want.

The Sound of Music is a complete classic. If you love musicals, then this movie is the right musical for you. All of the music is wonderful and easy to sing along to, you will definitely love this classic.
