It's the 50th anniversary edition of one of the best films of the 20th century. What more is there to say? Fabulous in bluray. If you love The Sound of Music, you will enjoy this edition.

A classic movie that entertains, and brings forth so many lessons and examples of what is truly important in life. Put to music with great acting and singing, and you have a true winner!

This movie is one of my favorites, especially at Christmas time. You can't help but sing along. It even has a sing-along feature with the lyrics on the screen. I love this movie!!!

I can't believe this movie came out 50 years ago! The amazingly true story of the Von Trap family and how they escaped the takeover of Austria by climbing over the Mountain to freedom.

I bought this movie for my girlfriend because she loves it and hasn't seen it since she was young. This is my first time watching it and it is a great movie, and the BluRay version is well done.

I had been craving some vintage movies...and when I saw this at the store...I had to buy it. And what's not to like? It's the sound of music! The DVD has lots of great extas!

When I was a young boy my mother took me to see the movie in the theater and I have been in love with it ever since. Now it touches my children as one of their favorites. Great Movie!

The movie is a classic but to get a remastered version that has a high quality upgrades makes it that much nicer. Don't expect this to be "true" bluray. It is upgraded but not like new movies.

As Alzheimer's takes my mothers memories, it has been proven that familiar music and songs she can sing along with are helpful. Buy this for any " young at heart " folks in your life!

Purchased this to share with my family. Still one of my favorite musicals. Picture quality is outstanding, and disc set had some nice added features. Very happy with this purchase.

I like this movie, reminds me of my ancestors during that hard time. I enjoyed a lot his movie. It’s worth buying the movie and watching with loved ones, family, and friends.

Don't know how many times I've seen this movie but every time I watch it again, I enjoy it just as much. It is really a great movie & would appeal to people of all generations. A must watch movie.

This movie never gets old. I bought it for my grandkids and they, of course, loved it as much as I did. They're now walking around singing all of the songs. Classic.

A must if you love "Musicals." This music is timeless, and confirmed the musical and acting talent of Julie Andrews. These songs continue to be sung today, and probably always will.

The Sound of Music is definitely one of the better family oriented classics out there. I am happy to have added it to my classic movie library at a very decent price.

This is a great classic family movie. Great job on restoring the movie and if you love singing this is a great one to watch. Bought this for a gift for Christmas and she loved it!

This is a great movie and the content on the Blu-Ray is excellent. Great picture. Works well on the TV. Good bonus features as well. This is a good buy for all fans of The Sound of Music.
