This is the best package deal for the price. The DVD quality is just amazing and all the extras you get bring you back to when the Sound of Music was originally done. What a masterpiece!

My wife is a huge SOM fan but I've never watched it before. Bought this 50th anniversary edition as a gift to her and after watching it together, I'm now in SOM camp as well :)

I can't believe it has been over 50 years since this was made and it still moves your heart. Everyone should see this from young to older folks.

This Blu-ray has some fantastic extras--sing-a-long lyrics, a documentary with Julie Andrews returning to Salzburg, director and Julie Andrews commentary, pop-up factoids, etc.

I live this movie and only had it on VHS. Went to watch it and my VCR ate it! So happy to have on DVD now! Awesome movie, love Julie Andrews!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie everytime I've seen it. It is such a classic I would recommend it to anyone that likes a good classic movie that is also a musical!

This is a wonderful musical for the whole family to watch and fall in love with the Von-Trapp family and sing-a-long with them as you take a journey through their lives.

Who doesn't love this classic movie? The picture quality from the Blu-Ray made it crisper and the sound MUCH better! You'll love all the bonus features if you're a SOM fan.

Not much to review from a product perspective. I don't think Best Buy is looking for movie reviews. The package and contents were in good shape, so A+ there.

The Sound of Music is such a wonderful musical and story. Love that it's based on real-life people, taking place during WWII. Beautiful singing, scenery, and great actors.

I gave this product as a gift to someone who was already familiar with the movie. The bonus feature of Julie Andrews taking a return trip to Austria was well received.

Hadn't watched this for years, forgot how great this movie is. Going to Germany in June and will visit where the movie was filmed. Glad I watched this again.

I've never met someone who hasn't seen The Sound of Music. It's a fantastic movie, and the Blu-Ray version is great quality. A great addition to any movie collection!

A must have for a fan of the movie, but also the best aspect is the rare clips of Julie Andrews and Carol Burnett at Carnegie Hall spoofing the movie. You can't find that on the DVD.
