This is an all time great movie and the Blu-Ray looks great. Just wish it came in 4k, as it was shot in 70mm!

My wife has been asking me to keep my eye out for this film for a very long time. Every time I see it, it is the new version and she wants the original. Pleasantly surprised to see it for such a great price at Best Buy. The wife was ecstatic when I brought it home (me, not so much as I am not a big fan of musicals, but, well, the things we do for our wives :)

If you enjoy timeless family classics this is a must. The actors and the story don’t age and the music is just superb. A must for musical lovers.

My wife bought this because she loves that show. It is nice that it is remastered on Blu-Ray for a high quality picture; makes it nicer to watch than a rerun on TV.

A great classic in blue ray great price. Fun to revisit an old classic and will be traveling to Germany soon and will be visiting the filming site.

and the picture on the blu-ray is wonderful. My only complaint is the 7.1 DTS isn't backwards compatible to 5.1 DTS so I ended up watching in Pro Logic

I didn't like this movie when I was younger. Now that I'm an adult it has deeper meaning and actually is very entertaining. Highly recommend for all ages.

You cannot go wrong with this classic! The blu Ray shows you a side of the movie you've never seen! The documentary included is a must for any fan of this movie

The Sound of Music has always been a favorite of mine and my wife. The songs, landscape, and story is very appealing. This was a gift for my wife's 50th birthday.

The hills are alive with Julie Andrews! One of my favorite movies since I was a child has turned 50?..... Loved it then and love it now!

This is a real classic and true family favorite. It never gets old! The music is wonderful and you will want to watch it over and over again.

Grew up with this movie and have fond memories watching it on an old tube TV and Worn out VHS. Times & electronics have changed but this movie hasn't.

This movie musical is based on the theatrical play. You will sing along to the songs and truly enjoy the movie. It includes a digital copy code too.

My daughter's school did this show for a musical and she wanted to see the movie. It was as good as it always is. Great fun and nice in HD.

Our 10 year old daughter is still humming this song and she wants to watch this over and over now. They do not make them like this anymore.

The Sound of Music is such a great classic! The 25th anniversary release of this musical is amazing and it cool to see all the extra bonus content.

What can I say? "The Sound of Music" is a beautiful and heartwarming, classic film for all ages to watch. You can never see enough of this wonderful masterpiece!

Great movie to be able to watch on tv and enjoy. Already owned this movie on VHS but it is hard to find a reasonably priced VCR anymore!

I grew up with this movie on in my house at least once a year as a kid. As an adult I appreciate how good of a movie it really is! All-time Classic.

I watched this more than 10 times when I was a little kid and was so happy to find it at Best Buy as a bundle and remastered. Happy with my purchase.
