Incredible picture quality. Feels like you’re viewing a film made just this year. It’s my dad’s favorite movie and I’m glad I got to share the experience with him again. Everyone should watch this movie

Classical musical of family, overcoming hardship, repurposing possessions for more daily functional uses . Family, family family , grand to have family. Great classic movie that can be watched repeatedly.

How can anyone not like this movie? Julie Andrews is a treasure. There is great chemistry between her and Christopher Plummer. The kids are adorable, and the music is terrific. Even after 50 years the hills are still alive, and on blu-ray they have never looked better.

This is one of my favorite all time movies. My sister and I knew all the songs and would sing along. Now my daughter and I are singing along with the songs. Her favorite is Do Ray Mi.

One of the greatest musicals of all time and a must to have in any DVD/Blu-Ray collection. Film has been remastered to 1080p and looks beautiful. Also enjoyed the second disc with a special with a one hour documentary of Julie Andres returning to Salzburg,

Very happy I finally bought this movie for myself! It brings back memories of watching it with my brothers and sisters and my parents during the holidays. We all enjoy watching this movie.

We had recorded The Sound of Music from TV once but I wanted to let my daughter watch it on either our Bluray player or with the Digital Download to our tablet. She loves singing with movie and will even sing the songs without the movie being on. Great price for an all-time classic.

Great production of a real classic, good picture and sound quality. Includes the "full-cut" version of the movie, so extra dialogue in a few scenes that gets cut for the TV showing. Also comes with extras, "making of" feature, etc., Highly recommended if you are a SOM fan.

This is one of the great movies of all time. You won't be disappointed with this Blu Ray purchase if you are a fan of the movie. It's never looked better on blu ray, and it's packed with special features, including a new feature with Julie Andrews! A must for any movie library.

Was in my local BestBuy and had seen on a commercial that it was the 50th ANNVERSARY for this movie being out. So I decided to buy it for my collection at home my mom is really big into all of these new additions that come with additions on to it like behind the scenes and etc.

SO glad to have this 50th anniversary blu-ray disk of The Sound of Music. This has been a family favorite of ours since I was a child and now I hope to enjoy it for many, many more years to come. Of course, owning it on blu-ray makes it that much more enjoyable.

Purchased this movie to share with my 6 year old granddaughter. I was not sure if it would hold her attention, but it did! She loves music and really liked the movie. I'm glad I added it to my collection. It's one of those few movies I can watch over and over.

This is a great movie that is a classic for a reason. While I have seen this movie many times before, I decided to buy it due to it being on sale, where it was cheaper than it usually is (it's usually quite expensive for a movie that has been out for 50 years).

This blu ray is awesome! The picture and clarity are amazing. I love the packaging and love that I could watch it on my tablet and phone as well. Good choice! Clear sound and a wonderful reason to stay in for the evening with popcorn!

Who doesn't love The Song of Music? The quality of this 2-Disc Blu-Ray edition is great. My grandchildren who in most cases would rather see a cartoon, sat through the whole movie. When they came over the following week wanted to see it again.

what an excellent remaster of a Timeless movie, so glad to have it on vivid HD audio and video quality, brings back memories as a kid watching it with my mum... Nothing bad to say about this find, even included the Digital HD Code.

Remastered and mixed. The sound and picture are crisp and deep. This is how you watch the movie. Even has the intermission. Watching it with a good sound system is probably better than the theater experience on original release. Wonderful.

Great edition of an outstanding movie. I wanted a Blu-ray edition and the digital copy. Lots of special features on the second disk.

I have always liked this movie. It is the first movie I saw in a theater, so I am a bit biased. Some complain that the cinematography is dated. I would agree with that, but it continues to be a classic movie well worth having in your collection.

This movie brings back the olden days. I grew up during the Beatles era and I recall my sisters going with my Mom to watch this movie. It was an event waiting to happen, and so it is here to ponder every time I hear those songs.
