Being a long time Sparks fan, I was absolutely stunned to see that there were no documentaries of the group that’s been around for DECADES…That is until, to my surprise, that Edgar Wright announced that it was going to be his next movie! For any existing fan, that had to feel like a fever dream! And as a fan: this movie does them justice and then some! Even if you’ve never heard Sparks beforehand, you should still check this doc out because it chronicles a very intriguing band with their rises and falls but never quite getting popular enough to be a household name. But fifty years on they’re still out there making music that sounds like nothing else!

Hilarious and relevant music documentary about the greatest band you've never heard of. I'm now a huge fan of the group as a result. Edgar Wright is great with his info and interviews, which includes a veritable who's who of entertainers. A must-see.

Awesome!!! I had never heard of Sparks!! What an incredible group. I promise, even if you don't end up loving the music, you will end up loving the guys and rooting for them. Unbelievable career, and still going strong with this years new album release!!

Get it while you can it might be hard to find later.

Edgar Wright creates a creative and loving homage to two of the most gifted musicians ever, the beloved Mael brothers. If you love GREAT music and unique, artistic expression, do yourself a favor and watch this movie. It will both entertain and uplift your soul.
