I bought this for my four year old, and I got it for me because it was in 3D. I've seen a lot of the Sponge Bob episodes to know the characters, so the movie seemed like a long 30 minute cartoon to me. But I digress, this movie was for my four year old, who loves it, and insists on watching it at least once a day, every day, since it was released. I'm SO glad he's enjoying it. The movie is actually funny, and the 3D effects are pretty good.

So I stopped at BestBuy and bought The SpongeBob Movie Sponge Out Of Water on blue ray. When I took it home, The Beach Ball was in great Condition no holes or anything. I recommend this movie set to any People Who like SpongeBob.

This movie is great for kids. Keeps kids entertained

The Negative: 1. The 2d, 3d, and DVD discs all have different content on it. The 3D disc has a deleted scene in 3d. The 2d Blu-ray disc has the rest of the extra features on it, but the DVD disc only has the movie. This can be inconvenient. 2. The cover of the 3D Blu-ray is like the advertising for the movie when it came to theaters: it misrepresents the movie. The movie is, truthfully, barely animated with 3D animation. Most of the movie looks like an average Spongebob episode. Perhaps this is not as interesting to show on a poster, but still, it misrepresents the movie and causes some people to not be as interested in seeing it. The Positive: 1. That said, the cover features wildly goofy artwork in 3D that matches the wildly goofy tone of the movie and it is sure to stand out in any movie collection. 2. I have not watched this in 3D yet, but I imagine the movie's use of 3D and 2D animation would make for an unique presentation and that gives me a bonus experience to look forward to in the future. 3. I LOVE this movie. It IS wildly goofy and it makes me laugh and smile. I've barely seen the TV show so one can still enjoy this without extensive knowledge of the source material. 4. There is no movie, aside from maybe the first Spongebob movie, that I have seen that is quite as off-the-wall as this one. The movie stands out and this package, while not without flaw, offers the most complete options to watch it. It's a pretty solid presentation of the Sponge, overall.

Love Spongebob and this was a great movie. The main characters go the surface/real world to get back to Krabby Patty Secret Formula.

The movie is great, but I bought this because of the great Exclusive that was offered! The Beach Ball is the perfect Summer Edition! Thanks Best Buy :)

My kids loved watching the series and thought the movie was great

Beginning to see traces of the ORIGINAL SpongeBob SquarePants, before the TV Show became so childish, that adult humor in the show was non-existent. Although this movie was not quite as good as the first SpongeBob SquarePants movie, it still lives up to its predecessor pretty well, and serves as a decent sequel to the first SpongeBob SquarePants movie. Glad to hear that original producers of the show are coming back to write more episodes for the show! Looking forward to seeing them! For the time being though, I will rate this movie 5 stars, because it serves its purpose to try to revive SpongeBob SquarePants, hopefully!

This was the first time I had ever ordered anything from BestBuy.com. I ordered a couple of DVDs as a presents for my nephews. Knowing that I had plenty of time until Christmas and that I am an Elite member with free shipping I figured I could wait a couple weeks for the product to show up as there was no rush. I ordered the movies on Saturday and they were at my house Monday. I was shocked to at how quickly my items arrived. Not sure if this is usual or atypical of online purchases through BestBuy however they are 1 for 1 in my book. I will most certainly be using this option again.

I love Spongebob Sqarepants the show. I like the first movie, but this one? It's ansome! Me and my mom went to see this movie when it first came out,( two months ago), at my local AMC Theaters at 11:00 or 12:00, I don't remember the right time. Anyway, me and my mom went to the 3D one, and it was super funny, action pack, and some happy times. In this movie, SpongeBob and the gang have to finish the story before a pirate named Buggers,(I don't remember his right name,) finishes the story and steels the Krusty Krub's recipe.

Purchase the Sponge Bob movie for my grandchildren. I am not a big fan of the tv show but the grandchildren saw it in the movies and asked to see it again so we got it. I have to say I was surprised that it was a entertaining movie. I thought it would be all toilet jokes like most children's shows and movies today but it wasn't. Also surprised that Antonio Bandares was in it, something that was never mentioned in the ads for the movie. If you have a hour or two to waste, thee are worse things you can do than watch this movie.

I'm a huge SpongeBob fan and have been for quite a few years. I enjoyed the movie, I especially liked the visual graphics of all the characters in full computer animation. The story was pretty simple and I would have given 5 stars if not for the fact the I watched the first SpongeBob Squarepants movie shortly before I watched this one, I still love the first one more. Overall, not bad, the story was pretty simple, punch lines and jokes are not as mature (definitely more for kids), but the graphics are what really make this movie pretty spectacular.

I enjoyed watching spongebob squarepants when I was younger, and now I watch it with my child. He loves this movie! Its awesome that it came with a digital copy cause I can play it on my tablet on long car rides! Honestly, I was going to get this at Target but I noticed that Best Buy had a lower price AND they included a cool beach ball, while Target included a coupon for free popcorn and some kind of bubble wand. So happy I purchased this at best buy instead!

Spongebob surfaced in my 20's, but I still had to check it out. It was always a goofy but entertaining ride that appeals to both children and adults, and Sponge Out of Water takes that silliness to the next level. Spongebob and all his friends get transported to the real world, and between the CGI, zany antics and over-the-top story, you'll most likely have as much fun with it as my daughter did. It's a bit trippy at times, and completely pointless, but fun nonetheless.

After renting this movie and seeing how much the kids enjoyed it , I simply could not pass up the deal of the day price on this movie with Blu-ray included. It's the same type of SpongeBob movie you'd expect with a few cameos and some great animation on the side with real world and 3D elements as well. It a good movie for kids and adults alike, I found myself laughing at some of the stuff. Another reason and excuse to bond with family time?? I say why not?!

I PUT ON THE 3D GLASSES ON MY CHILD WHO HAS CEREBRAL PALSY AND IN A WHEELCHAIR WHEN HE STARTED TO MOVE TRYING TO CATCH THE EFFECTS THAT WAS COMING OUT OF THE SCREEN DUE TO THE 3D EFFECTS WITH THE GLASSES. HE NORMALLY JUST SITS, BUT WITH THIS MOVIE HE WAS VERY EXCITED AND MOVED HIS ARMS AND BODY IN EXERCISE FORMAT WHICH WAS COOL TO WATCH. HE BEHAVIORAL CHANGE WAS NICE TO WATCH AND HE ENJOYED THE MOVIE AS WELL AS WE DID.

I was worried about this one since it was a blind buy and a bit pricey but I wanted to ensure I got a slip cover. I went in with tempered expectations but loved the movie in 3D. I've only seen the cartoon occasionally so wasn't sure a movie length dose would keep me interested - it did :) I also didn't mind the traveling to the human's world since there was still plenty of cartoon world content.

This story is a fantastic continuation of the life of SpongeBob SquarePants. A great watch for the whole family. I chose to purchase the Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy version because it was only $5 more than just purchasing the DVD alone. Wise move on my part. My children have already watched it repeatedly on their iPad as well as when traveling in our vehicle. I've already gotten my money's worth.
