Steelbooks have really changed havent they. I have a couple in our collection and this one doesnt feel like “steel” in comparison. It wont stay closed on its own, it pops slightly open if nothing is holding it shut. Super thin outer casing that may or may not be “steel” with an innter plastic shell. Really disappointed by the exclusive higher priced product.

Great movie, great audio mix and visual is perfect 4k. The 4k bluray was still intact but the case was almost broken and bestbuy still decided to send it like that its embarrasing. Most of the staff have terrible customer service so not surprised they managed to sale a broken 4k bluray.

The movie itself is good and in good condition but the case came dented and split at the seam so it doesn't open like a book, instead it's now 2 pieces like a top and bottom piece. The whole purpose of this product is the nice steelbook case and I'd replace it but there are no more to purchase.

Where do I begin when describing the feeling of nostalgia I got while watching The Super Mario Bros movie. This movie leaves no stone unturned when it comes to nostalgic references from this over 35 Plus year old Nintendo character. For classic fans like myself and newcomers, this is all around a fantastic movie that you won't walk away disappointed from. Super Mario Bros movie is great to watch with family, friends, your dog, or by yourself.

What’s not to love about this movie? It’s just as fun watching at home as it was in theaters. The 4K image quality is outstanding. Sound mixing is a touch on the weaker side, would have liked a little more punch in the low end. But the main reason I’m giving this one only 4 stars is because….. this is absolutely the poorer quality steelbook I’ve got on the shelf now. I love the minimalistic artwork, but the case itself doesn’t even properly snap closed. Only one tab snaps at a time. If you try to snap the other closed, the first one pops back open. I’ve read several other reviews saying the same thing, so I know I didn’t just get a lemon. Don’t understand how such an error made it past inspection. Aside from that glaringly obvious flaw, this one is a great addition to the collection.

Even when the Steelbook editions of games or movies I want are not "Best Buy exclusives," I have come to appreciate the value and quality Best Buy consistently delivers, and thisbgame is no exception. Unless my steelbooks (and most of my electronics, to be honest) aren't available through Best Buy, I don’t deviate from checking here first, and buying here at least 90% of the time (reserving 10% for the occasional impulse buy and door busters from competitors.) I feel that Best Buy had an amazing idea to draw us in with their Door Busters and Daily Deals (this is how I found my Super Mario Steelbook Edition). While I now see marketing strategy with most competitors in some way, shape, or form, most still lack the formula that Best Buy has had such success with. Only Amazon has come close, and that's a pretty huge accolade from such a Marketplace Mogul, and theybcan never bring us the personal touch of walking into a store talking withban expert whenever needed, and walking out with my purchase same day. Never change!

5/5 Growing up, I played eight Mario games. I loved Mario as a kid, so I anxious about this new animated adaptation of it's source material by Illumination. Believe it for not, "The Super Mario Bros Movie" was a joyous surprise for me. I had a blast from beginning to end. There aren't any flaws to seen for my taste, it's fun, harmless, and it never insults our intelligence. Directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, the direction is incredible with sharp sight gags, slick surprises, and excellent timing throughout the entire film. I realized that the direction is so unpredictable, it provides enough urgency to make failure seem possible for our heroes. The hilarious humor is what makes this film the funniest movie of the year so far, while the action offers frantic excitement with a lot of energetic momentum. Moving at a brisk pace, this animated diversion delivers consistently rollicking energy nonstop. As expected, there are some references to the games as well, and I can tell, they were inspired.

The super Mario bros movie is a wild ride that hits fans with nostalgia over and over again and I loved every second of it. Every single scene in the movie is a reference to something. From the music, to the animations, to the places the Mario crew goes. It’s all magical and was an unforgettable experience. Even someone without Mario knowledge will enjoy the movie and have a good time with it. My son is in love with the movie as well and ask for me to play it daily! I highly recommend for all families and Mario fans!

Saw the movie in the theaters not once but twice. Had to compare a regular theater screen and Dolby digital. Was blown away with the difference. This movie brings back bits and pieces of past Mario games and puts it all in a movie. I’m sure everyone who was born in the 80s and played Mario will love this movie. It is also appropriate for the younger generations as well but may not necessarily pick up on the small details. The storyline is good and can’t wait for part 2 to come out!

Took our daughter to see this in the movie theater as her first movie theatre experience. She absolutely loved it. Decided to buy this collector’s steel book to watch at home with her anytime we want now! Great quality product and in great condition when it showed up in the mail.

I love bowser. His imposing presence and cunning schemes add a thrilling dynamic to the film, making him a memorable antagonist. Hopper's portrayal captures Bowser's essence, blending menace with a touch of dark humor, creating a character that resonates long after the credits roll.

What a great movie! I wanted to buy in DVD as a soon as it was available for the kids to watch while on long road trips. And I was able to use the code to watch on TV whole at home or on the go through my phone. I pre-ordered this Collection set. The case is very nice. The process was easy to order and fast delivery as soon as it was available to ship. It didn’t take long either for it to be available for shipping.

Great Movie all my family enjoyed it. I also enjoyed Chris Pratt as Mario. Also props to Best Buy for packaging my copy in a box rather than an envelope after I read other reviews. My only grip with this product is I wish that whoever designed the Steelbook would have put more effort into the front and back rather than just have the Power-Up Mushroom. That being said I do love the inside design.

I really enjoyed this movie. It reminded me of the Lego movies and how much fun it was watching them. Everything about the movie was great and I'll enjoy watching it again. The extras are not incredible, I was hoping for some type of documentary about the Mario Bros. games, but no such goodness, just the typical horn blowing and back patting. The peaches music video is great, though.
