This is an interesting little cult horror movie, in a beautiful widescreen print, with a great cast of actors! I was happy to see the original trailer was included as well as the original trailers for other movies hosted in the Katarina's Nightmare Theater DVD line. However while this DVD has a great set of extras and a great movie with actors who can actual act, there are no type of scene selection menus for the feature or for the trailers other than the trailer for the main feature. Not having scene selection menus makes it hard to navigate through the DVD's main feature as well as the set of trailers. Also it's great there's reversible dvd cover art,but only the cover art on the back of the case changes when flipped over. The front cover art is identical on both sides! Aside from these two minor flaws it was decently priced. Also this DVD has a great set of extras(some of which were unexpected aside from the two I knew I was getting: the audio commentary and the Katarina Nightmare Theater host bit option of watching the movie hosted by Katarina Leigh Waters).

This is an intriguing story!..Very entertaining! I love scary movies, and this one is really good! It has superb special effects. A wonderful sound track, and solid acting! This is a movie that I will watch again, and again from time to time!

a good competent movie from Australia with a good cast. however, James Herbert's novel was far more creepier and scary. still, the movie holds your interest even with its obvious twist ending.
