This is one of my favorite Disney movies. Mainly for the banter between Merlin and Madam Mim. I love the wizard fight scene in the film. The movie looks better than ever and enjoyed watching it again with my family.

This is a classic Disney. There is really no way for anyone to tell you that this is a great movie. There is only watching and enjoying some of the older Disney before the graphic intense movies we have these days.

This is one of the best Disney feature length cartoons and possibly one of, if not the best iterations of the sword in the stone myth. It has some nice classic songs that the kids enjoy as well.

Classic tale. Always favored this adaptation of the whole king Arthur type genre of movies. A young lad. A wizard like mentor. The powerful sword only the "one" meant for it can obtain it. Great.

Nostalgia Wins Out Over Lackluster Transfer

Normally Disney Blu-Rays completely pop off the screen but I have to say that this transfer of Sword in the Stone wasn't it, chief. Love the movie - nothing beats the sad little squirrel in love with the human squirrel or the exciting Wizard's duel - but this looks like a slightly worse version of a DVD copy.

This review is mainly on the bluray picture quality n not the story. This is one of my favorite Disney flicks, but the bluray quality is not 1080p as advertised through out the full film. I can say the conversion to bluray is good, but not great. But a good effort from Disney to convert a 1970's picture into a bluray for Disney movie lovers.

I used to watch this when I was little and I thought it was so funny. I'm 27 now and I still love it to this day.
The characters are great and funny. I definitely recommend this to anyone old or young.

Disney Movies Anywhere (now Movies Anywhere) is a great value when discs like this go on sale and give you a digital copy, too. It'll unlock on a multitude of services, so you can then stream the classic disney cartoons anywhere. This was only $10, so great for even just a digital copy, let alone also coming with a disc.

Classic. Not much more I can say about this movie. Plus it’s Disney. Might cut off old movies for Blu-ray or 4K transfers in place of streaming.

Who wants to be King? Most children love to pretend. Watching this movie is a chance to enjoy the circumstances that led to a young boy , Arthur, becoming the ruler of England. Enjoyable family film!

Classic Disney animated comedy. A hilarious musing on King Arthur's childhood interactions with Merlin, which is about as far as one can go while maintaining a G rating. Clean family fun.

This was one of my favorite Disney movies when I was a kid and like all Disney films it went into the stupid vault so I could never get it on DVD, but with the blu ray release I picked it up so my son could share in it. He enjoyed it and I was pleasantly surprised to find that 30 years later I still enjoy it.

This movie was as great when I watched it with my grandkids as when I watched it with my kids. The wizards duel is always entertaining, I constantly look for the little things I may have missed the last time I watched it.

One of my favorite Disney classics growing up. Picture looks amazing compared to the old VHS we grew up watching it on. Highly recommend for a remastered trip down memory lane.
