One of the best 4k scans of an older film that I’ve seen. Kino lorber never disappoints with their remasters. If it’s the first time you’re watching this film, it’ll definitely make it that much better.

KL Studios continues to knock it out of the park with their 4K restorations. This is a 70’s classic with an incredible music score, stellar character acting, and electric photography. Seeing 70’s New York and especially in the subway systems just feels spectacular, and especially seeing this movie all cleaned up and restored from the original camera negative in 4K makes this a must-buy for any cinema lover!

This movie encapsulates everything cool about 70s movie thrillers: the mood, music, dialogue, and action. And it has one of the greatest endings in movie history in my opinion. The 4K upgrade is fantastic, worth the price.

It was a blind buy for me, and I ended up enjoying it quite a bit. It's very much a product of its time, but still holds up to a certain degree. These days, I'd say its closer to suspense than action. I think its a great 4K picture. There is some controversy in that the original mono track is believed to be a dowmix of the 5.1 surround mix (instead of being original audio). Either way, I enjoyed it.

I forgot how great a movie this is. Outstanding performances from late greats Walter Matthau & Robert Shaw. Very nice 4k remastering. As good as it gets with a older classic like this one.

Kino Lorber delivers another great 4k transfer for a classic film. Great cover artwork too
