We love the OLD movies. The Thin Man has so much comedy built into the mystery. William Powell and Myrna Loy are fantastic. Great movie for all ages, nice clean fun movie. Must watch them in order.

The best of the best "Who done it" mysteries

This first of the "Thin Man" series and the best of them started a line comedy, romance and mysteries. Through in a lovable dog and how could the studios go wrong. This type of film was copied later but were short because the team of Powell and Loy could not be duplicated.
The film gives a decent (Hollywood) picture of life in the mid 1930's
Very well done.

William Powell and Myrna Loy are a great pair in this film series.
A little banter between the two of them: "She grinned at me. 'You got types?'
'Only you darling - lanky brunettes with wicked jaws."
