I won't bore you with a review of the actual movie - if you like horror you know how you feel about John Carpenter. But the movie's never looked or sounded better.

This is such an awesome monster movie from the 80's. Great practical effects and the storytelling is spot on. If your into horror, suspense it's a must have

I don’t know how many more times I can buy this movie. It pretty much doesn’t get any more perfect. This is definitely a worthwhile upgrade. You won’t be disappointed

Director John Carpenters remake of the 1951 Classic version. Difference is in this version the "Thing" is a shape shifting organism / creature that once you are infected.... you become part of it vs the 50's version where an alien kills you for your blood to seed more of it's kind. Kurt Russell does a great job making you wonder if he is infected or not.

The Thing has always been a great film. Now with a 4k version it's even better. Get The Thing! Before it gets you.

One of the greatest horror movies ever made. Comes from John Carpenter who also directed the fantastic Halloween movie.

I grew up on great Carpenter movies and this is one of them. Fully remastered with great colors, sound with film grain. Just a great presentation! A must have!

I bought this to upgrade most of my John Carpenter movies to Blu-ray. The transfer is updated and looks great. The extras an older documentary that's feature length. There's also newer extras including some newer interviews with the actors.

The THING is a classic and this updated edition makes it even better. The new transfer is excellent. And all the new special features are stuff die hard fans have been waiting for. Definitely pick this one up if you're a fan or have never seen the film.

One of the best horror movies ever. Looks great in 4K and comes with digital copy that can be used through Vudu. Must buy for John Carpenter fans.

Would have preferred the back art for the front, but you can't win them all. The 4K transfer for this film looks amazing. For the price, this is a STEEL (hehe).

Love this movie, it's an oldie but a goodie and still scary! Everyone should have this in there movie collection. So glad I bought it.

This is one of my favorite Sci-Fi/Horror movies and it’s better on 4K. I would put it next to Alien in the best Sci-Fi/Horror movies as one of the best.

This movie was ahead of its time, from the state of the art special-effects, the suspenseful storytelling and the excessive gore John Carpenter made a horror classic. The Thing was been remastered for this edition, and the transfer is AMAZING!!!!!!!

John Carpenter's The Thing is a horror classic & looks great on the blu Ray version ! Lots of bonus features make this a must own movie & a great addition to any horror movie collection !

One of my favorite movies of all time, perfect for the Halloween weekend if you just want a fun time with friends and family. The 4K transfer was excellent.

Picture is excellent, though maybe not as great as it could be, but the movie itself is one of the best horror flicks of all time. Absolute must-own, especially for the price.
