Classic horror movie from the legend, John Carpenter. This movie looks and and sounds awesome. Beautiful steelbook. Great movie. Must buy.

The most underrated film of the 80’s finally gets a 4K UHD and it doesn’t dissapoint! Nice upgrade over the Scream Factory release.

Never has The thing ever looked so good! Carpenter’s classic has been given such a new touch up that you’d think it was a new film overall!

One of my all time favorite John Carpenter Movies. The THING not just a horror movie but one of the greatest films of of all time.

Kinda regret watching this while eating. HDR helps the colors pop, shows off what OLEDs can do in the dark. Sound quality is okay imo.

If you're a fan of John Carpenter films then you will love this film, for it's scary gory and haunting music. Also good 4K quality picture

John Carpenter may have established himself as a master of horror with Halloween but he cemented it with The Thing. The pacing, performances, and effects really make it stand out from similar movies of the time.

I CAN'T BELIEVE I WAITED 39 YEARS TO SEE THIS!!! The practical effects in this are mind blowing and still holds up by today's standards!!!

I mean, it's The Thing in 4K. Hold onto your Scream Factory or Arrow discs for the extras, but the PQ here is phenomenal.

I love steelbooks that just have a classic, clean look to them. This one is perfecto. Great UHD image and audio is top notch as well.

Wow, this steelbook is amazing! Luckily mine showed up in perfect condition! The thing is a horror classic and looks amazing in amazing!

While it isn't the collectors edition, it does include a cool commentary with Kurt Russell and John Carpenter. This does have better quality than its DVD counterpart, which is why I upgraded. One of my favorite movies.

I have the standard Blu-ray of this film, but I couldn't pass up this collector's edition. It's jam packed with goodies and extra features. I definitely recommend adding this to anyone who is an avid horror fan.

I have seen this movie a million times over various formats. I can honestly say the 4K version felt like viewing for the first time!

Finally, one of the best sci-fi films of all-time gets a fantastic release - the picture quality is vastly upgraded from the previous blu-ray release, and this Scream Factory release is loaded with new and old extras.

The THING about this film is I love it and the 4K conversion is fantastic definitely worth the purchase.

This is great release with a noticeable uptick in both detail and color! Would like to see what Scream Factory can do with it tho.
