I brought 2 steelbooks this month spent 50 bucks on them the 4k copy skips not sure if it's my 4k player or both of the copies of the 4k movie now I have 2 copies of the 4k version not playing only skipping

Heard about the movie but have not watched in its entirety

So 2 star review doesnt represent movie its a 4 star movie but the 4k copy is garbage . Very noisy picture in 4k no dtsx or dolby atmos no blu ray copy no digitsl copy. Thats why its 2 stars. Id reccomend this movie just not the 4k format

Ok movie. Kinda boring.But I would watch it again.

QUITE DISAPPOINTED FOR THE SLOW ACTION & UN-ORIGINALITY OF THIS FILM; FOUND IT SLOW-PHASED NOT SURE IF MOVIES LIKE THESE TEND TO ENCOURAGE CRIME W/ FRIENDSHIP & FAMILY; IT'S SENDING THE WRONG MESSAGE, REALLY.

It is a ok story. I can see the need for unity and friendship to such relationships, but they are simplistic and one-sided. And the violence did not help either... Good for a view, but not worth the purchase...

Good bank robbery movie. The best scene to me was the shoot out at Boston Red Sox stadium. The rest of the movie was boring.

I don’t recommend buying this movie. Is just another Heat type movie with Different actors.

While The Town 4k doesn't have the best picture I've seen in a 4k, it is still worth owning.

Audio on the UHD disc is awful, all the voices sound like they were recorded in a giant room, echo is awful. I don't have this issue with any other uhd disc I own. Not worth the $$, can't return it, waste of money.

It says that it's an extended version with a lot of not seen in theaters footage. But it only applies to the Blue Ray, not the 4K. What the point?

Would not recommend this movie. Extremely slow and not at all entertaining

Ben Affleck is an incredible two for two as a director. I was captivated by this film and thoroughly enjoyed it. I now understand all the comparisons to the movie “Heat”. It’s an intense film that keeps you on the edge of your seat, even in non action sequences. At times, you often wonder if it’s right to be rooting for Affleck’s character but even that aspect is addressed by a remarkably smart and crisp script. The cast is absolutely perfect and I honestly feel the film itself should receive some Oscar buzz.

While 'The Town' doesn't break any new boundaries, it takes a standard formula about a bank robbing crew and executes it perfectly. The action is raw, intense, and very realistic. The acting was good, but Jeremy Renner really shined in his part. Even the dark, moody soundtrack was perfect for building suspense. That said, it could be criticized for having too many parallels to 'Heat', another great film about a heist team with Pacino and DeNiro. Overall, if you're looking for a dramatic action movie that takes itself seriously, this will keep you on the edge of your seat.

This movie has it all. Easily one of the best 4K movies available.

This is such a great deal,for an awesome boxset!!..As a collector,Im rarely suprised by a modern boxset,but this one has it all!!..From a full sized poster,to tattoos,a hardback book,files,mug shots and a whole folder chock full of goodies and extras.The film itself comes in a 3 disc digipack with amazing artwork and is full of extras,including the extened cut and alternate ending.All of this comes in a nice,hard slipbox,that looks great on the shelf!!..They definately had the collector in mind for this one..Amazing set,especially for $30!!

Not a bad story, not great either. The acting is good from everybody and you can tell Affleck put his whole heart into this work. I'm not a fan of many of the main actors in this cast due to their political or social activism but if you can look past these thespians telling us they know what's best for ya' then you can get lost in the story. The book, mug shots and other stuff are great, especially if you are a weirdo like me that feel like they need to have the best version of whatever. The studios know they can get more money out of fools like me with these "Collector's" edition but this particular package is worth it.

first off, long movies dont bother me, my fav movie is lord of the rings, and whenever i watch it, i watch all 3 back to back, i make an event out of it. this movie though, was long and didnt have enough story to fill the time. i read the original cut was over 4 hours long. theatrical was cut to about 2:15 and the extended cut comes in at almost 3. it was a good story though, the acting was great, the action was exciting and it kept you on your toes. the blu ray looks magnificent and the aduo sounnds wonderful with surround sound. i most likely wont ever watch the extended cut again just because some of those scenes shouldve been left out, but i will gladly watch the theatrical version.

Great movie with fantastic acting from Affleck & Renner. The bank teller actress was likable and believable. Had sort of a happy ending which is is unique in this genre of movie. The bad guy gets away, which is always cool.

Starts with and ends with a lot of action and imagination. I don't consider Ben Afleck a star actor but his performance was Pearl Harbor like. It seems hard to say I was rooting for a bad guy. Well worth viewing and owning.
