I remember my parents watching this when I was little and I remember the masks they wore and years later I was playing payday 2 and saw the mask and I watched the movie and I loved it the ways they plan and how they prepare for a heist is amazing and to have this movie in my steelbook collection it’s great to see how the extended cut was.

Ben Afflecks second time being behind the camera and in the directors chair as well as starring in his film The Town. It is a great follow up to his directorial debut film Gone Baby Gone, which was great, but now he shifts to bank heists, car chases and gun fights. Not only does the film have a good cohesive story, but Ben Affleck and Jeremy Renner are outstanding in their roles. Their is also a good supporting cast which includes Rebecca Hall and Jon Hamm. This movie also looks fantastic, especially on bluray, and the sound is just as good.

Great movie that looks good in 4K. Nice story line.

It's a movie of great old friend who became expert in robbing banks in the neighborhood. But along to their profession being bank robber the leader fell in love with one of his victim. Corny !

It seems that almost anytime Ben Affleck directs and stars in a film, you can count on it being well done. The Town is a superb bank heist film with a host of great actors including Jeremy Renner who gives an unexpectedly great performance here. The extended edition is near perfection and really gives that extra amount of screen time to fully flesh out these characters and their stories. This is an A+ film all day.

Ben Affleck has surely come a long way over the years. I remember seeing him in Mallrats and thinking, "I like this guy...who the heck is he?!" Some time later he became quite popular and I grew to enjoy his performances even more. I think he shows equal talent as a director, so we really enjoyed this one. It kept us on the edge of our seats with great action scenes, but had more substance than the average shoot 'em up crime story, which is always welcome. Blu-ray quality was great with a nice clean image and no visible defects. I would definitely recommend this!

This 4K release is good but could have been better - there was plenty of room for improvement. The 4K disc brings excellent video and audio quality but only includes the theatrical cut of the film. The Blu-ray disc includes the extended cut but it's the same old Blu-ray that's been floating around for years, not a new remaster [from the original camera negative]. I would recommend this movie if you're a fan of drama / heist movies.

I was able to get this in steelbook form at best buy, but if you can't just pick up the normal version! This movie at its core is about bank robbers and heists, but also love and Boston! It has a good lead by Ben Affleck, but the other cast member help make the movie! And if your worried about him being batman, check out this and the directors cut of Daredevil.

The Town is arguably Affleck's best work in the triple duties of acting, directing, and writing (more so than Argo in my opinion). 4K quality is excellent. I didn't try the blu-ray but assume it should match the expectations for that format.

Ok now I am a movie person I have sold my dvd collection of over400 movies. Now I own all my movies in either blue ray or uhd 4k.So I will be honest I've purchased this movie probably 3 times at the least... great film must watch..... all around awesome movie10☆☆☆☆☆ if I could...

Its a Good Steelbook for a Great Movie I was waiting for them to release this in 4K format love the artwork design and it also comes with the extended version of the movie on blu ray but the digital code is for the original version

The Town 4K steelbook is very nicely designed and packaged. It comes with the theatrical cut in 4K, but unfortunately does not have the superior extended cut on the 4K disc. Regardless, the 4K looks and sounds better than ever. The only other issue I had was the back had a dent in the middle.

This is the movie that turned Ben Afflecks career around and he followed it with more great ones like Argo. Although now that he is back with JLo im sure his movies will start to suck again

My wife loves this movie. Can’t stand how they murder the Bahston accent. This was for her.

I've seen this movie dozens and dozens of times. It is fantastic! Ben Affleck does a great job acting and directing. I tell everyone I know to watch this movie. If you like caper films, you'll love this movie. If you like movies with good acting, give this one a shot.

My appreciation for this film stems from coming from he area in which it was filmed. However, the intensity is what drives it. All the characters from Affleck to Renner to Hamm seem to have an inner drive to succeed even though it puts them at odds with each other. It doesn't stand up to some of the great crime dramas of the 70's but there's meat on these bones.

This is a pretty good movie. The 4K picture was excellent and the sound from my receiver was excellent. Ben Affleck played a very good part. I would recommend this movie to anyone who likes Ben Affleck. I wish the movie Pearl Harbor would get a remake in 4K .He did a great job in that movie.

Solid drama with great acting and production design. I enjoy the occasional movie directed by Ben Affleck as he is talented behind the camera I’d say more so than in front of it. Nonetheless it’s not my favorite movie, but the steelbook is a great addition to any film collection.

Ben Affleck used to be that actor that not many people seemed to like. His acting, when he was younger, needed a lot of work and many people just gave up on him. In this film, along with many others, surprises you with how much he has grown as a person, and actor/director. A+
