    If you have not seen the 1976 film with the same name, don't worry this is a great film as a standalone. The 2014 version acknowledges the 76 version but you are not missing out on anything if you haven't seen it. Loved it

    The original Town that Dreaded Sundown is indicative of it's era. The second feature's atmosphere is eerie, and a little tongue-in-cheek. You must see the director's other feature, Me & Earl, & the Dying Girl.

    I was happily surprised by how much I liked this film and by how well produced it was. The Blu-ray is of high caliber as well. If you're into horror/slasher films this is a great buy at a low price.

    I bought the blu-ray because it was a good price. I have seen the original movie & this one is supposed to be a sequel/reboot. Overall I have so say that for the price, it is a good addition to any horror fans film collection. The movie is available on Netflix at the time of this writing.

    it said it was a reboot but after watching this good horror flick it felt like it was a continuation from the first movie .well anyways i loved it! and i reccomend this movie!
