Remastered release of the 80’s film. Brought back memories, nice to have a hi def disc to watch.

This movie is awesome!! Everyone should have a copy in their library, if you’re a transformers fan.

They really did an impressive job on this update/transfer. The colors and depth are amazing to watch. The soundtrack is also amazing. It comes with not only a 5.1 Master Audio track, but an original 2.0 stereo Master Audio track for those who dont have a full surround sound. The fact they corrected some of the color mistakes (Hot Rod being pink etc) from previous releases was enough to sell me on this one. My only disappointment was that the case promises deleted scenes, which are rather in fact, story boards showing what could have been if they would have animated those story boards... not a deleted scene at all... more of a what could have been. regardless. a far superior edition that any Transformers Fan will be kicking themselves if they miss out on.

kids enjoyed watching seeing the transformers as cartoons made it interesting for them.

Metal case, Original cartoon, classic movie.. just get the popcorn... You will love it.

Who doesn't like to go back now and then and remember the cool stuff you liked as a kid. Probably a good chance that Transformers was on that list. Here the beloved hand-drawn animation cartoon movie gets a good Blu ray touch up and holds up well; Presented in Full Frame aspect ratio as well as the first time in Wide Screen Format. It was a departure from its TV cartoon source in that characters actually "died" but also paved the way for the next generation of Transformers as well. The improved audio goes well with a great rock n' roll sound track accompaning this movie, thus adding to its over all action feel. The Steelbook cover features iconic artwork recognizable by most fans. Finally, a few bonus features thrown in (for the fans!) such as the original trailers and a documentary that brings in original voice cast members just to mention a couple. So, all in all - A great Blu ray transfer to a movie that takes you back! So in the immortal words of Optimus Prime: "Transform and Roll Out!"

Good viewing with favorite extras that makes me want to watch again and again.

I actually saw this in the theaters as a kid. Had it on VHS, DVD and now Blu Ray.

This is a classic, and in the late 80s as a kid to now I still watch this.
