This is one of the greatest American films ever made! Not only does this Blu-Ray version capture the essence of Huston’s masterpiece, but the special features makes this cut worth every penny! A great film about the dangers of greed and madness. The transfer to digital is good and this disc should be in the collection of any fan of "Bogie."

Character portrayals was very good. Actors really played their parts well. Although in this movie the best acting was seen not in the major role, but in a supporting cast..

This film might be Bogie's (Humphrey Bogart) finest hour. It's excellent. Three men go searching for gold in the hills and paranoia eventually tears them apart. A must watch and must have for all film fans with some excellent extras including a 2 hour documentary on John Huston. Add this to your collection.
