I haven’t had the chance to watch them yet, but I’m planning on starting to watch them in a few as a matter of fact!’

Excited to get this series in time for Christmas. I heard it has maybe more than I care to see explicit scenes. Unfortunately, Hollywood believes sex sells. In reality if something is done well you don't need any sexual scenes. This series is very well done and the actors are all superb as well as cinemotograhy and costumes. The overtly sexual and graffic war scenes are overwhelming. I had to close my eyes quite a bit. This series would still be exceptional even if they would cut those scenes. They do nothing to enhance the plot line. Overall, amazing series and I hope my friends will enjoy it because they have a real interest in historical pieces (not hustler) for those who get the joke.

This looked phenomenal for a DVD. I honestly think they must have remastered these DVDs in HD and then downscaled because I use to have the first season of The Tudors on DVD circa 2010. The first season on this DVD set looks way better in terms of color, image sharpness, and image clarity. I guess you could argue it is the TV, but in reality I watched it on both my current TVs a Sony X900H and a Sony X800G. It looked great on both. Despite one being an entry level Sony and the other being a mid tier Sony. So I truly believe it is disc quality vs TV that is why the image and color is better.

Best purchase I have made. The insane thought process of King Henry the 8th is intoxicating. To think this man really existed and ruled is mind boggling. Jonathan Rhys Meyer plays the role so well you have to believe he went a little mad playing the King. Great box set when you need a quick history lesson that is anything BUT boring. The clothes and settings are so crisp and clean it really gives you the feeling of being apart of it all. It also helps that the writing gives a sensual sexy spin on the Renaissance era.

I've really enjoyed this series. There's so much intrigue, you'll want to watch episode after episode. I also recommend :The White Queen" and "The White Princess" which are prequel/sequel series.

I enjoyed this historical drama of the reign of THE TUDORS. Love, Betrayal, Scandal, Lush Scenery, Gorgeous Costumes, and the handsome, sexy, Jonathan Rhys Meyer!!! If only Henry VIII was this sexy!!!! Maybe that's why he had so many wives!!!

I have watched a lot of this series on TV but have never been able to see it from the beginning. I don't know how many episodes I missed before I tuned in. This will allow me to have something to watch any time I want.

This show is amazing and so much fun to watch. It is one of those shows that is hard to stop watching and you want to go onto the next episode even when it's 2am and you have to be up for work at 6am.

I never really knew how bad King Henery was. Watching the Tudors I can see how things were done for reason to please the King. And how women were used as leverage! OMG I'm so glad this is the past!

Good show. I enjoy watching this show and decided to purchase this so I would have it.

Wish I would have this series to get me excited about History. This story told an exciting way. You will enjoy all of Henry's wives. Must Have

If you like historically based shows then you will like this one. It’s edgy but in a good way. Watch it!

Thoroughly enjoyed this series. The scenery and costuming was excellent. A great review of English history in the 16th century.

If you are into European history, then this series is for you! It has a great cast and plenty of plot.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers does such an excellent job in this series! Now I can watch it whenever I want!

Enjoyed the entire saga in 1 complete package for such a great price! Plenty of drama& strife and so THANKFUL to not have lived in that era! And we think our world today is ruthless?!
