This 2nd of the Twilight Saga is even better than the first! I can't wait to buy the 3rd when it comes out -- "Eclipse".

Let me make this review as clear as possible. If you are male, you're NOT going to like this movie! If you are a mature individual and above the age of 17 years old, you're NOT going to like this movie! My wife and I watched the first film and thought it was just terrible. We only watched this one because we heard it was better. It was a LITTLE better, but it's still a terrible movie. I was hoping New Moon would be geared more towards adults or even a male audience at that. No such luck! These movies have a pointless plot with no conclusion. Let me get this straight, a girl is caught in a love triangle between a teenage werewolf and a 109 year old vampire who looks and poses as a teenager. Right?! Regardless of how he looks, why would someone with the intelect of 109 year old be dating a teenager? The plot just doesn't make sense, it's more humorous than anything. Not to mention, all the actors in the film are between 16 and 20 and look like they walked off an Abercrombie and Fitch photo shoot. Like I said before, these Twilight films and Blood and Chocolate (which is the exact same movie minus vampires) are geared only towards teenie-boppers, teenage girls between 10 and 17 years old. That's it! Unless you actually like silly high school drama and lots of shirtless teenage boys running around. So, if you find yourself in that category, by all means you'll probably like it. For all the adults and males reading this, I don't recommend this film!!! Also, I don't understand the PG-13 rating. For all you parents, this could pass for PG or even G, if your little daughter wants to watch it. (I'm suprised Disney didn't slap their label on it.)

New Moon is what it is: a page to script adaptation of a less-than-stellar novel. Stephenie Meyer makes Stephen King look like Shakespeare, and this film makes Interview with the Vampire look like The Hurt Locker. In an age of Avatar and Lord of the Rings, the special effects are particularly disappointing. The wolves in New Moon are clunky and unrealistic; Donkey in Shrek looks more lifelike. There are some genuinely laugh out loud moments that the filmmakers never intended, so grab your popcorn and your 15-yr old sister and enjoy!

I loved the Twilight books, and the movies are just as wonderful! I have seen this movie several times, and I expect to watch it again and again!

Again, read the books and you will understand the plot better. I love the graphics from the movie.

I really enjoyed this movie. It was very similar to the book. Much better story than the forst movie which left out way too much!

Love the books, and althought the movies always miss details, love the movies too...

I have not seen any of the series in the movies. I found the plot a little tough to follow sometimes. Everything else about it was fantastic.

this movie is fantastic. the only thing i'm concerned with is having a boxed set when the file is over. ALWAYS my luck :)

Received the dvd movie on time and in great shape and I really enjoyed the movie very much. I was very happy with it.

This movie is not as good as the first and third installments but is still worth buying to have in your collection.

Loved the whole story of vampires and werewolves working together. Thought Jasper made a great military commander.

I was waiting a long time to get this movie on DVD I saw it at the movies liked it so much had to buy it to.

Well it was pretty good but i just dont like the plot I didnt even like the books! But if you are a fan you should watch it...

I saw New Moon Twice on the Ultra Screen in Elgin and I watched it on Disc over Spring Break

I watched it with a friend she loved it so much she went out and bought it. It's a great love story.

Very good sequel. Sometimes they are a let down but not this one. Love the plot with the werewolves.

Great Movie. I thought it was well done. I can't wait for the Eclipse to be released. I will be right in to buy it.

I really love the twilight series and it after ordering the movie; I received it in about a week!
