    I absolutely love this movie! I saw it a few years ago and I really liked it then but I love it now. The story is very simple with a bittersweet ending. I have also read the book and it's a faithful adaptation. My only complaint is that the sound is so low. Now maybe it's because it's a DVD being played in a blu ray player, but I really don't think so. Aside from the super low volume, I highly recommend this movie!

    I had seen this once on tv and it stuck with me, but I was never able to find it on video until now. Very glad to finally get it. Although very much a product of its time its still a fun watch.
