Outstanding! This is one of the best designed steelbooks out there, beautifully done Paramount! Picture and sound are amazing now. A true upgrade over the previous Blu-rays that have been out for some time. This is the 4K release and digital for the 35th Anniversary. If you like '30s period Chicago era prohibition movies, especially with Capone, this is the one! De Niro does a great job playing the Gangster Al Capone. Kevin Costner, Sean Connery, Charles Martin Smith, Andy Garcia star as the "good guys" out to get Capone anyway they can. Beautiful edition throughout and I believe all special features have been brought over to the 4K disc edition. Menu is fabulous with easy selections. Highly recommended! Not for kids under 13 however, in my opinion.

My only complaint with this steelbook is the glossy finish (FINGERPRINTS). Haven't watched the 4K yet, so i can't speak 2 the quality.

A solid gangster crime film great extras great steelbook

Boy, was this a long time coming. After having to endure a dated HD transfer full of digital noise reduction for over a decade, Paramount has finally gone back and given Brian DePalma's 1987 gangster classic a proper restoration and a brand new transfer for the film's 35th Anniversary and its UHD debut. It was well worth the wait. The colors and black levels are much improved, picture detail is solid and the film once again displays a healthy layer of film grain. If there is any downside, it would be that there are no new extras to be had. That said, it is still nice that they carried any over in the first place. The film speaks for itself, remaining a rousing piece of entertainment that hasn't aged at all. This is still my favorite film from Brian DePalma.

This movie doesn’t need much of an introduction or an overview here. It’s a classic. Solid script from David Mamet and solid direction from Brian De Palma building set piece sequences like only he can. And an Oscar-winning performance from Sir Sean Connery, who naturally benefits from getting the best lines. What we get here is an equally solid upgrade to 4k with a well-designed steelbook keeping in theme with the prohibition-set movie. If you love The Untouchables then this is the version to get.

Sean Connery at his best. The Untouchables is classic. Third greatest crime movie ever, of course, the Godfather is first and Scarface is second. Kevin Costner is magical in his performance. Andy Garcia is spectacular. Although his best role is in Black Rain with Micheal Douglas. This is an excellent movie, Elliot Ness should be proud of this adaptation.

I was waiting for this to come out on 4K. The picture quality is top notch. The sound is just a amazing. Watching this on my 4K OLED TV is so beautiful. I was blown away by the picture. The movie is excellent. Great actors and a good storyline. The steelbook is fantastic. It looks even better in person. It has the look and feel of nostalgia. I highly recommend it if you don't already have it.

This is a very cool steelbook. The artwork on both the inside and outside are very well done. If you're a collector of steelbooks, like myself, this is a definite for your collection. My only wish is that they had included the bluray disc with this version instead of only the 4K disc. But that aside, still a nice steelbook.

Another classic Kevin Costnet film supported very well by the likes of Sean Connery, Andy Garcia, and Robert De Niro. So many iconic scenes now available in 4k to enjoy including the shootout at the train station, the confrontation in the hotel lobby, the Mountie raid, etc. This is definitely a top 3 in Kevin Costner's carreer and well worth watching.

When people ask, what’s the best gangster movie? Usually it’s Goodfellas, Scarface, etc…. Somehow, inexplicably The Untouchables are not mentioned. What?! Run, don’t walk and buy the beautiful new 4K transfer and Dolby Atmos blu ray. Connery, Deniro and Costner. Probably Brian Depalma’s best movie. Must Own. Beautiful steelbook. Thanks BB.

The 4K transfer alone is worth this purchase. This film is loaded with top Hollywood actors and what a job they did. I already had this film and after I saw the stunning new 4K transfer I just had to have this version as well.

The Untouchables 4K Blu-ray Steel Book movie was terrific. The picture quality was outstanding for an older movie. All of the actors in the movie were high quality and the script was outstanding.

Excellent movie with great top notch cast. Deniro , Andy Garcia, Sean Cannery and kevin costner are superb. Gangster genre is very appealing. Deniro IS VERY BELIEVABLE AS al Capone. Highly recommend.

I saw this for the first time last year. It was on my list for over a decade. The cast is incredible the score is mind blowing and directing by Brian De Palma is the best. Must watch.
