Yes, this is a show with vampires (it's in the title, kind of a given!). But it is not just a vampire show per say (though there is some awesome vampire action), there's also so much more involved! From the fantastic writing by Kevin Williamson, Julie Plec, and their team, to the wonderful acting and chemistry from the cast, especially Ian Somerhalder, Katerina Graham, and best of all Nina Dobrev, this show will keep you on the edge of your seat from the VERY FIRST EPISODE. Season 1 of the Vampire Diaries was good, Season 2 was BETTER! This is a fantastic show that stands on its own (don't compare it with other vampire stories, i.e. True Blood, Twilight). My one and only complaint about the DVDs was the bonus features were a little lacking. I could have used more. The gag reel was good, but only about 2 and a half minutes long. I did really enjoy the feature on Nina Dobrev talking about playing Elena and Katherine. I don't like writing (or reading) reviews that tell you the entire plot. But if you like vampires (or just sci-fi/supernatural) stories, check out the Vampire Diaries Season 2 (there's also lots of werewolf and witch action!)

I love Damon Salovtor this season he is totally hot and sexy, I love the whole Plot Storytelling it kept me on my toes and it kept me for wanting alot more seasons to come. I love this Show and can't get enough of it. I love how Elena is being so Brave and welling to die for her family . Thats what makes a good show . I love how the two stories about Katherine And Elena this whole season. I give This a two thumps up!!!! I recommanded everyone to buy this 2th Season of Vampire Diaries its the best show ever and u won;t regret it at all. I promise to u all out there that watched this show u all well Love it.

-girly scream- OMG IT TOTALLY ROCKS!!! Damon Salvator is a total hottie! And the whole story/ plot keeps getting better and better. It's keeping me on my toe's! Can't wait for the beginning of the third season to premier on tv!

More Vampire Diaries on Blu-ray. Great cast and great characters make you care about the story and what may or may not happen to them. Get into this series and follow along the crazy ride.

In season 2, Tyler is bitten by the hybrid Claus and becomes a werewolf. The series continues to entertain, filled with horror and comedy, never taking itself too seriously. Great fun!

Every episode has such a large impact in this growing series. Not one episode is wasted in this season with big events in each episode. The blu-ray is a worthy effort from WB.

I really enjoy this show even though I haven't been a vampire fan in the past. The drama continues in Season 2 enough to make me want to watch season 3.

This is my new favorite show i am addicted to watching it, especially on bluray.

If you love Vampire shows and movies you will love this series!

Ity was a Christmas present for my daughter. She loves it; and that's all that matters to me.

Loved the second season more than the first and it leaves you wanting more.
