I still love Escaflowne and I was excited they released it as a DVD/Blu-ray set. I'm getting used to the new dub as well. I still like the original dub voices but the new ones almost sound close. Excellent video and audio quality. I'm glad this was remastered better than Viz's Sailor Moon releases.

This is an anime series that I watched as a kid on FOX. I loved this series and bought the series years ago on DVD. I am so happy they finally released as a Blu-ray offering. Got some of the series not all due to price thus far.

Escaflowne is one of those stories that you just can't believe is created from imagination alone. Soundtrack is mind blowing. My only complaint is why bluray and dvd? Just sell them separately and decrease a bit the price.

I'd long avoided this show because of a bad version shown on TV years ago. Thankfully this is not that version. The show is excellent. This set is packed with extra features definitely making it worth an anime fans time.

So far so good. I've only watched the first of two discs but it pretty good so far. But it's definitely one I want to try and binge watch for a clearer view of what's going on in the show. It came with 4 discs which I like. It's 2 dvds and 2 blue ray discs. This means I can watch at a friend's house even if the don't own a blue ray player.

One of my favorite shows of the 90s and the remaster in HD is outstanding. Has the original voices and the new voices too in the soundtracks but on different discs because first disc is uncut vs broadcast version.

Having Escaflowne on Blu Ray is like visiting an old friend for the first time in years. It's a beautifully told story with stunning animation. It's Neverending Story meets Evangelion. It's simply Awesome.

one of the greatest anime classics that stood the test of time. the musical score alone makes this one of the all time greats in anime history get ready to be mesmerized by the story!

This anime has an amazing soundtrack combined with a different type of art style. It is amazing that this classic anime was restored on to blu-ray with such a great position.

It's a great introduction to anime, with an easy to understand plot, and great music. The art style might be a bit much for many people.

This is a great show. If you're interested at all in 90's anime, this is a great place to start. The Blu-Ray transfer is beautiful.

Escaflowne has everything going for it. Action, romance, secrets, giant robots, creatures and a sound track worth dying for!

Nice nostalgic romp through my younger days. Thoroughly enjoyed rewatching the show on a nicely done bluray.

Finally the Blu - ray version of the classic anime. A must have for your anime collection.

Item arrived with broken case. Discs survived and play properly, but were scuffed due to compromised support structure of case.

Must buy if you're a fan. Quality in all aspects is must better than original dvds.

Like I said in my review for Part Two of this series, I highly recommend it!

Great story, great voice acting. A little intense for younger viewers.
