    Like Anna Biller's LOVE WITCH, THE VOID doesn't bother being part of throwback culture. Instead, it's made (for the most part) as if it takes place in the time it'd be popular. The eighties for THE VOID, and the 60s for LOVE WITCH.

    At first I watched cause of Ellen Wong love her. It felt like a mystery/creature feature then went straight lovecraft on me. Fans of Silent Hill and Alone on The Dark series will love this one.

    The Void was a surprisingly good body horror movie. It kept my attention all the way through. Sure it's not to best movie ever, but it was still good. I'd recommend this to all horror fans.
