With the FPS genre becoming so much better with each COD and Battlefield game, this game feels 10 years old. Was hoping for much better game play. Would probably make for a better rental, than to actually own. I will call it a good game, but was hoping for much better.

The Walking Dead: Survival Instincts is an okay game. Definitely NOT worth paying the full "New Game" price, but if you want to learn more about Daryl and Merle Dixon and you are willing to sacrifice graphics and gameplay frustrations to get it, pick this up. It has some nice feature ideas that just felt like there wasn't enough time to refine them into the amazing game it could've been. The feeling of "rushed" is all over this game. It's funny, the AMC Walking Dead episode that aired after Survival Instincts release focused a ton on the Dixon brothers. No wonder the game felt rushed, certainly seems like they needed to get it out in time for that episode, especially because... SPOILER ALERT ...we lost Merle in that episode. Overall, if you're a fanboy of The Walking Dead and you want every piece of Walking Dead universe, it's worth picking up, but again, at the lowest price possible.

Playing his game is better than watching the tv show...nice!!!

If you love The Walking Dead, you are guaranteed to love this game! It is hard though and I tend to get frustrated easy with it, but I don't play a lot of games, so that is probably why. If you are a regular gamer, it will be perfect for you!

Great fun. Has some bugs but worth it. Had a blast playing.

Bought this for my 17 year old gamer who loves the show and he gets so into it, but admitedly has to play in smaller increments because it's so intense and kinda scarey. lol

If you love The Walking Dead on AMC, you will enjoy this game to some degree. But do yourself a favor and look for a $10 or less sale price or else you will regret it. Bought this on sale after hearing negative reviews. I will say that the prequel story for Daryll is cool, and having Norman Reedus and Michael Rooker voicing their respective characters is good fun. That said, the graphics look like a 360 launch title, the gameplay is boring FPS fair with inconsequential choice elements and glitchy zombie behavior. There is minimal to no replayability. If you love The Walking Dead, get this game on sale. Otherwise pass.

Was fun for a little while, then got a bit boring.

My nephew was so excited to receive this on Christmas, he hasn't stopped playing. He's very grateful for the snow in North Carolina. No school = video games.

It's a cool game.... kind of like the show. I've only had a chance to play it twice since I purchased it, but so far it's fun.

Love this game. It has the voices from the show and it's just like being part of the real thing.

I like the game for what it is. Play as Daryl Dixon and bash zombies day in and day out. Don't expect anything too spectacular.
