The tension of the previous year's climax continues into this year. This season sees a big change in the show, with lots of new characters, and plenty of loss, as is the norm with this show. But the biggest change is the variety of locales.

Fifth season starts with a bang with a thrilling series of events that pushes the gang to the breaking point. Acting and directing continue to be top notch and the extras on this disc further solidifies the commitment of the production to high standards.

The fifth of the series and and it still gets better. I have already preordered season 6 as I don't have cable or a satellite to watch it on. This is the way I catch up on what has happened. The twist in the series keeps me coming back for more.

It’s not as good as the last 4 seasons . But still good

If you are going to get "The Walking Dead" series, get it on bluray for all the extras. The bluray has all of the behind the scenes interviews and FX tricks. Best Buy has the best prices for movies on the first week of release. I get a lot of them here.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this show!!! Even though it doesn't always follow the graphic novel story-line, it does an exception job of standing on its own as a series. Realistic portrayals of human actions in a time of crisis, unapologetic realism... Great Show!

As huge fans, we had to purchase this to finish our collection. Watching it again before the new season starts is a must, I didn't relize how many little thisng we missed durning the regular season, it just makes me want the new season to start sooner.

The suspense continues as Rick and his group charter new grounds and encounter new people. The amount of gore, walkers, and suspense is multiplied in this years season. Get ready to finish the last episode on a needle point....and thirsting for more!!

The golden age of television is here and this series, along with Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Vikings, Sons of Anarchy, and others are the best shows in my lifetime. This is the one I am collecting right now but the others are worth getting as well.

Can't get enough of this show. All other show, i can wait till they are available on Netflix, but i love having an actual copy on bluray to own. Now i can enjoy it for life. Bought season 6 also. Just waiting for the next season to air. #TWD

The fifth season of Walking Dead continues to introduce new and quite different aspects of the concept - not just regurgitating a gory story line. This time, there's an idyllic community that thinks they're safe - until Rick and crew arrive and prove to them forcefully that they're not safe, and not very idyllic, either. And for the first time since season 1, we see Morgan. Remember him? It looks like he may play a major role in the last season, whenever that comes. Again, the DVD edition seems technically better than the Blu-Ray edition.

I didn't get to watch this season while it was airing so I decided to just get the whole season on Blu-ray. So far it has been better than any other season, several unexpected deaths of group members. Rick has changed a lot. Can't wait for season 6.

What does being a Walking Dead fan and being a Cleveland sports fan have in common? Season after season, any HOPE that you may have, gets mauled and ripped away from you. And then you have to look forward to the next season for another way to win.

I like everything about this show, from the first episode of season one to present so this is a great addition to my blu-ray set. The lenticular cover is cool, and the extras are nice. Though of course I could always use even more deleted scenes!

Not my personal favorite season (season 3 is still tops for me), but there are so many twists and turns in this season that keeps things moving that it's hard to NOT get involved with everything. The cliffhanger at the end sets up season 6 nicely.

The Walking Dead Season 5 Blu Ray looks exceptional on my flat screen TV. I do not follow the show when it airs, every year I wait for the season to be released on Blu Ray because it looks and sounds better. Definitely one of the best shows on TV!

Have the other seasons had to get the latest one. This is one of my favorite series. Love, love , love it. Can't wait until next year for the next season. It just keeps getting better and better. The actors are great and the storyline is intense.

The only reason I gave this four stars was because there were only 16 episodes. I was hoping for twenty or more. Otherwise it was a super great season. Sad in a couple of shows. I love this show and it keeps getting better, but it does make me sad because it shows how bad people are and how bad they can and will be if something like this really does happen. It shows that the living are really worse than the dead. What is the point in surviving if we lose our humanity by doing horrible things to others just to take the little they have.

When a person has the first season of any show you must continue to buy every season there after too! It is a requirement if you are a fan. A requirement to the very last showing! Watch this season and be surprised as you were during the last.

Got hooked on the show and have been binge watching all the other seasons to catch up. Bought this so I wasn't tied to a TV for an entire day. The extras that are included offer some nice insight into what is going on with the characters.
