This is one of the most interesting shows that has come out in a while. It has some very interesting characters and really seems realistic how in this situation many things you assume in an organized society would go out the window. Good plot, good character building, and good twists keep it interesting. I wish there was a bit more as to the "what happened?..." but hopefully in future seasons. Worth the buy for sure!

I have been hooked on this show since I saw the first episode. The storyline is excellent and it keeps you guessing. There is a lot of suspense and the actors do a great job making you care what happens to them. When characters die you really care. This is one of the best shows I have ever followed. Highly recommend it. I paid $19 which is a very good price for such a great season.

I never got into breaking bad or any of the other franchise tv-shows that have been aired on AMC. I have to say The Walking Dead rules and I am definitely a fan. I saw my first full episode not that long ago and I was hooked. I went out a few days after that and the rest is history. "Walkers" suck and Rick Grimes and his "family" are awesome.

This was an excellent dramatic based TV show. Never seen character development like this in a Zombie-based post-apocalyptic world. It's more about the story of the characters in the situation they are in and how they survive and what's going thru their minds. PQ and AQ of Blu Rays was excellent. Would highly recommend this TV show as its addictive.

Got it fast in perfect condition. Watched the whole season no errors on discs. Loved seeing the first season on blu ray for the first time even with the film grain filter the walkers and back grounds are truly amazing.

We don't have cable so we are behind the times on this show. Recently we bought season 1 (only because everyone would not stop talking about it..lol). As soon as it ended I knew we had to buy the second season and I am so glad we did! It was hard to watch just one episode. We watched the whole season in 2 days! It kept us wanting more!!

I bought this for my boyfriend and he has no complaints. We both love the Walking Dead, and this is a perfect addition to his DVD collection. Best Buy offered the cheapest price for the special edition of season 1 and there were no problems with the discs, either. All-in-all, it's an entertaining TV show we can watch together over and over again.

If you can't get enough of The Walking Dead, the Special Edition of season 1 is for you. Lots of behind the scenes footage, interviews with the cast and crew. I found it very interesting to hear all the work and devotion that all the people who are involved in the making of the show contribute. There are hours of extras on this edition.

I purchased this because I just wanted to see what all the fuss has been about this popular series. I 'binge-watched' the first series season, and realized that it is indeed good viewing, but personally not something I'd continue staying involved in. Just personal preference, and nothing more. Yep, I'd recommend to a friend if they were interested, but I started off by giving my copy away. I'd never choose to watch it again, so I put it to good use. Again, it was a great bargain, and I'm glad Best Buy offered that.

The show is outstanding and obviously raises the bar and sets a new standard that very few shows ever accomplish. Even though this is probably the slowest of all of the seasons of the show it is still outstanding. Strongly recommend to watch season 1 first. This and every season of this series is a must own. Enjoy :)

The first six episodes of The Walking Dead was something of an experiment, just to see if there would be an audience for this kind of thing. There was, big time! It's great to see the original cast and how the series got itself going. Love it! You will too.

One of the interesting parts about this series is that the zombies are just a hazard of the environment. The biggest part of the series is all the interpersonal actions. I didn't think I'd care for it, as it started out kinda slow, but the story really keeps you into it if you watch.

Only 8 episodes in season 1, but they're all great. I was hooked after the first 10 minutes of the first episode. Kind of reminds me of Lost a little bit, the way a group is formed and the dynamics of the different personalities. Plus lots of good acting, and good special and make up effects for the zombies. Very suspenseful too, knowing that anyone can die at any time (and do).

Leaves you wanting more! With only 6 episodes, it leaves you to wonder what will happen next. Those 6 episodes are intense though! You get thrown right into the fray and it goes from there. Walking through walkers covered in guts was pretty nasty. Glenn was so much younger looking then!

The Walking Dead's first season is arguably one of the best seasons of television ever made. The quality of acting, story, and effects are second to none. This Blu-ray collection comes with all episodes from Season 1 and a large amount of features. IF you like the Walking Dead, this set is for you.

The Walking Dead finds it's footing in season one. The main characters are introduced and the essential character development happens here. Season one is an instruction manual for great cinematography. The settings and scripts are top notch. Television at it's greatest!

Every one said that the walking dead is a great series but don't watch it unless you see it from the beginning. They had this online with a great price. So I was able to see the beginning of the series. Fast moving. I am a fan now. I was able to record the marathon so I am up to date now.

We are big fans of the Walking Dead, and when this came up for a good price on Black Friday we couldn't resist. It's cool to see how all of its popularity started. The first season is not my favorite, but it was neat to see all the characters that have come and gone.

The Walking Dead Series - Season 1 is just great. I love this series; it keeps me interested and I always look forward to the next episode. I am so glad I purchased the first season, and very happy that Best Buy had it at a great price. I look forward to buying the next seasons.

The first Season of the Walking Dead is arguably the most interesting Season simply because it shows you where everyone starts off. Going back from watching Season 5 to Season 1 is a remarkable thing to see simply just from seeing how different every character is.
