Amazing show, I started watching this late December 2023 and im already finished with season 9. I love this show!

Ordered or got wrong season needed 4 got 2 . To late to return ! But can tell you it was a great season for twd fans.

I love this show.I watched the entire thing and then purchased the dvd just to have.

Great show, had to buy all the seasons to have the whole collection!

I put this show in my top 5 of all time. Fight the Dead. Fear the Living. The only bad thing i can say is when your favorite character dies it stinks. but it's also what makes this show so real. No one is safe, only the strong survive.

season 2 is the best season of twd. it had great story telling, action, and character development

Season 2 of “The Walking Dead” finds our group of heroes on the road looking for someplace not crawling with Walkers. Of course, being out on the open road, danger lurks everywhere. It’s not long before a horde of zombies forces our heroes to hide and in the process Sophia goes missing. Rick and Company find sanctuary on a farm led by Herschel. They think they’ve found the peace they’ve been looking for. However, secrets abound as alliances are tested, friendships pushed to the edge and even jolly farmer Herschel may have a few skeletons in his closet. While Season 2 is not as strong as the first season, it still manages to keep you watching. Some may find the lengthier season a bit of a chore to get through as there are several quiet episodes filled mostly with speeches. One thing the second season does well is just as you think it has run out of steam you’re hit with a wicked twist that makes you keep watching. Like with the first season, Season 2 is loaded with special features that will guarantee you’ll be popping this in more than once. We have audio commentaries on five key episodes from various cast and crew. Deleted scenes from 8 episodes. And, of course, the ubiquitous behind-the-scenes featurettes that leave no stone unturned. Though the longer season means a little more downtime, it still manages to stay fresh and interesting with a season finale that fans of the comics will just (pardon the pun) eat up.

Never thought I'd enjoy a show such as this as I am not normally into anything of this genre, however in watching this Season as well as the past and in seeing the way the actors work together as a unit in front of and behind the scenes (through the extras) it's pretty cool. Purchased Season 1 and was hooked, had to have Season 2 and then 3, now waiting on Season 4 to come out. The extras are great and seeing how the show was made with all of the behind the scenes footage helps make any concern for the gore go away. Being able to see the deleted scenes and the webisodes of the season make the DVD/Blu-ray worth the purchase. A much more enjoyable experience than if I had only watched it on TV when it aired.

Since Season One was just a few episodes and basically just introduced the characters and the concept, it took until Season Two to really get good. And Season Two does just that! We start to get to really know the basic characters now and there are new ones introduced to boot. Rick, Shane, Lori,Carl, and the gang find new survivors and encounter new walkers. We get to meet Herschel, Maggie, and Beth. Special effects are first rate and the story starts to be laid out. What is the real evil... the walkers or the survivors? Will they find Sophia? What is in the barn? Lots to love here.

A great second season Blu-Ray set for the Walking Dead fan. It is very well put together.

Season Two of the Walking Dead has gotten a lot of flack from viewers over time, but it improves greatly on second viewing and is actually one of the better seasons of the series. There are reasons for some of the negativity. Having gone to many boards discussing Walking Dead, I find there is a certain percentage of viewers who really want it to be an all-action show and complain every time it slows down for a bit. That's exactly what Season Two did, especially in its first half, and that generated a lot of carping.

Zombies, Zombies, Zombies. What has become so mainstream nowadays is very well crafted and created in the Walking Dead Series. After Season 1 only had about 6 episodes, Season 2 is back and contains a ton of episodes and special features. This Blu Ray set was on sale for $10 so it was worth picking it up at that price. If your a fan of zombies and action shows with good plot lines and characters that aren't dull, then this is for you! But if your buying season 2, then you most likely have seen season 1 and already know how awesome this show is!

Not only is this item very well made, it has been the best purchase of the whole series. The fleshy rubber makes the zombie look very realistic. The added joy of stabbing the Zombie in the eye could only be augmented by having him scream. Walking dead should have continued to release these heads. Resale value is through the roof

I thought the series so far has been excellent and fun to watch. However, Best Buys return policy is lacking. I accidentally bought the season 2 (Again), and my wife removed the plastic wrapping before I could tell her not to. Best buy will only exchange it for an identical item, thus my problem being that I already have the identical item. The disc were untouched, only a little plastic film removed. These policies need to be reviewed and determined on a case by case basis.

The Walking Dead is one of the best television shows made. Some critics did not like Season 2 as they said it was too slow. If you watch the episodes together without waiting a week apart, you will see that it paces well and is suspenseful. This season has an excellent plot arc as well as excellent acting and effects. The negatives I have are the audio commentaries are not on all episodes. If commentaries are not your thing, then this is the blu-ray for you.

LOVE THIS SHOW. REALISTIC CHARACTERS. ALL THE ACTORS DO A FANTASTIC JOB. I HATE WHEN THEY KILL OFF ANY OF THE ORIGINAL CHARACTERS, EXCEPT SHANE. HE DESERVED TO BE KILLED OFF BY RICK. I LIKE HOW THEY GIVE SOME BACKGROUND INFO ON THE CHARACTERS TOO. HELPS UNDERSTAND HOW THEY GOT TO WHERE THEY ARE IN THE STORY.HAS BUILT A SMALL COMMUNITY OF PEOPLE DEALING WITH THEIR NEW LIVES & HOW THEY SURVIVE DAY TO DAY.
