I love the heft and quality of the reproduction the noises and lights give it a sense of realism. The remote features are not so great, very difficult to use, but that's not what I bought it for.

Best product yet I can take control of my home entertainment equipment with this Star Trek Phaser universal remote control. It operates using gesture-control technology instead of buttons, and it makes 10 realistic phaser sounds from the TV show. The Star Trek Phaser universal remote control has four banks of memory so I can program up to 36 commands. That is just Groovy.

A nice detailed replica of a hero prop that has lights and sounds.

I got this for my brother for his birthday. He loved it! I looked at the reviews and YouTube videos on it and decided to get it for him. It is a little pricey but I think it is worth it. It has a hard case to protect it and the sounds are exactly like the show. If you love Star Trek I recommend you get it you won't be disappointed!

I love this! It exceeded my expectations. I love the packaging. I love the quality. Except for having an original phaser from the Star Trek series itself, this is as good as it gets. Wonderful reproduction. Every Star Trek fan should have one of these!

Very nice. We plan to shelf this and not use it as a remote. The build quality is fantastic and it's probably, unintentionally, a better built replica than an actual product built to be a replica of a phaser! Recommended!!

Not sure if I care that it can control the TV, but this thing looks awesome. The look and sounds are just like you took it off an episode. It's a lot of fun and matches the communicator beautifully.

The Wand Co. did an astounding job on this phaser remote. Even the case it comes in is fantastic! While I haven't tried the remote control features, the look and FX are perfect!

Loving it! The quality is amazing. A magnet in the bottom of the handle keeps it attached to the base. Haven’t used it as an actual remote yet but it looks great as a display piece.

This is a first class prop! The detail and workmanship is second to none. It has all the correct sounds and functions. It was well worth the money. Highly recommend to all Star Trek fans.

It's a blast to have a full fledge star trek phaser to scale with working parts and a dilithium chamber. It does support multiple devices (TV, DVD player, etc.). But somewhat tricky to use- sometimes too sensitive or not sensitive enough in the hand motions to convert to appropriate commands to the TV and DVD.

Found reviews right, it was hard to program. Still can't turn tv on/off but I'll keep trying. Still very realistic looking and great sound efffects.

Very well built, cool sound effects. Not very easy to set up as a remote for your electronic devices. Went through the practice mode and mastered the motions. Tried to program it for our TV, some functions work and some(most) do not.

The Star Trek Phaser Universal Remote is fantastic!! Its well mae, good weight to it, works perfectly and definitely a conversation piece.

I was happy to see the quality in this phaser. It's looks great and works great. My husband was so surprised and happy when he got it on Christmas.

I've seen this online at various sites for a while now, but I've deferred purchase. When I saw one in person, I couldn't resist. As a phaser prop replica, it's the best I have, but not really enough to rationalize the expense. As a remote, it's awkward, and I doubt if anyone actually uses it that way. I think I'm going to keep it, primarily to complete my collection. It is nice that you don't have to buy batteries since it has a USB charger. My recommendation is qualified, based on the fact that most hardcore ST fans who can afford this will like it.

First off, I am reviewing this item as a prop only as I have not set-up the remote features yet. The phaser comes in a case that is as impressive as threw remote itself. It looks like a prop with custom fitted padding inside to cradle every piece. The details are spot on and the heft of the item adds to its realism. if you are a Star Trek fan, you want to add this to your collection. Looks great on a shelf or makes for a great addition to your landing party gear. lol. Great sound effects and lights effects!
