I love this because it feels solid and looks great on my desk. When I am thinking or talking on the phone, I like to pick it up and fidget around with the controls and pretend that I'm firing it. They laser scanned this against the original show props so this is as close as you are going to get to the "real" thing,

I bought this item as I am a Star Trek fan and like prop replicas . I was very impressed with the construction and overall workings of this item. I would say personally that it is a little better of a prop replica than an actual device remote control but does work well as both.

I've owned several toy replica phasers over the years and this by far is the best of the best. It's obviously not a "real" phaser but I would argue it's as close as you can get. I can't speak to its tv remote capabilities because I don't plan on using it for that.

I bought this for my husband since he had been wanting one and it was on sale. He said that he likes the way it feels, the strong construction, and the features are awesome. When he took it to his office to show his co-workers, 2 of them had to go out and buy one too.

Great product, the Wand Company knows it's stuff. I now have their communicator and phaser. Now all they need to do is come out with a tricorder and I'll be landing party ready. This is a must product for any Star Trek fan.

I purchased this for my wife, yes for my wife. She absolutely loves it. The detail is outstanding and the sound effects are awesome. Brings back memories from our childhood of Captain Kirk and crew aboard the Enterprise.

It's a perfect replica! The various features take a little bit of getting used to and you will find yourself charging it more and more cause you'll be playing with it! Great gift for the sci fi fan in the family!

This is an amazing prop replica. From the moment you un-box the phaser you are instantly transported back in time to the original series. Its a great addition to any collection!

This was very cool. The quality of the design is fantastic. It looks and feels like the real thing. Just point and fire to change channels or just sit around and act like Kirk.

I got this and the communicator Just for nostalgia sake.When I was a kid i had to make my own in order to play Star Trek.These brought back great memories.Thanks.
