This is such a great movie. It has a great cast and storyline. I do have to say the transfer to 4K is flawless. I love the picture and sound. Highly recommended

Picture and sound was great liked it better than the Tom Cruse movie there was to much drama in Tom’s movie not A very good parent he was a jerk!! Better story in this version buy it you wont regret it.

This verson of War of the Worlds has always been my favorite, i first saw it in the theater. The bluray dvd is a great upgrade to the vhs that i always watched

I have seen this movie so many times since I was a young man I just had to see if 4K would make a difference. Man did it ever, and the sound also, excellent.

One of my favorite sci fi movies! The criterion release is a great upgrade but watching the movie in native 4K is the best way to watch this movie.

The remastering is well done. It doesn't look old and faded . The audio mix sounds reall good. I'm very pleased!!

The War of The Worlds (1953) on 4K is a great movie, however one thing i noticed that I don't remember being there before seems to be a boosted sound in certain effects which distracted the rest of the audio. Case and disc inside was in perfect shape.

I am returning this item. It came in with a huge sticker on the front of the slipcase from Best Buy. Cant be removed without taking all the color off of the slip down to the silver. I am shocked to see this.

I've always loved watching this movie as a kid and it's still a great movie they did a great job restoring it on 4k
