Such an excellent movie with an awesome performance by Brendan Fraser which was a very well deserved Oscar win! I love the 4x3 ratio aspect the movie is filmed! Please buy it and watch it!

Loved this movie. Watched this in theaters with my mum and we both enjoyed it and were in tears.

Heartbreaking, eye opening, crushingly honest. Brendan Fraser's performance is outstanding and it is so understandable why he won the Oscar. The Whale deals with everything in Charlie's life. He is morbidly obese and is dealing with the grief of his lover that committed suicide, the teenage daughter, Ellie, he has been estranged from for years, Liz who takes care of him and saves him from choking on more than one occasion and the food that drowns him. There's so much more to see in this incredible movie and it all takes place in Charlie's living room with glimpses of other rooms in his home.

'The Whale' is, in my humble opinion, the best movie of 2022 - and Brendan Fraser is definitely the best actor of the year. I purchased this blu-ray so that I might re-view it as many times as I will like and for the extras added on the disc. The only thing missing is understanding the effort in the costume department for Brendan's suit he had to wear. The 'Making Of' episode is very informative. If you are at all interested in the background of this film this disc is for you. Highly recommend!

I avoided all the hype and reviews surrounding this movie so nothing was spoiled, i can say by the end I was an emotionally wreck. The ability for Aronofsky to draw you in using the 4:3 screen size and tight spaces was brilliant not to mention Brendan Frasers epic performance. The emotional range Fraser delivered even with just a silent glance was heart wrenching. The only spoiler i will offer is if you are offended by a gay character this may not be the best film for you.

Good movie. Tear jerker with great message. Brandon did a great job acting.

Stellar performances all around. Having struggled, and still struggling, with my weight since the Covid 19 pandemic started, I knew the filmmakers were going to deal with hard truths. The point of the film is how we need to see the good in people and not see them as huge, fat, ugly whales like the masses treat people with weight problems. Brendan Fraser is a great human being to boot

This movie is such a crushing, depressing, slow burn about watching a man come to terms with his death and what led him there while also trying to atone for mistakes he has made in his past. It’s an emotionally draining movie, but it’s also one of the best movies I’ve ever seen.

First of all, it was great to see Brendan Fraser again. I've always loved his performances. The Whale packs a lot into it for really an overall simple story. I was not aware until after I watched it that it was originally a play, but it had that "theatrical" feeling to it. I don't want to gove anything away here, but I will say it is quite an emotional journey.

Brendan Fraser makes a grand return to the big screen. His performance was definitely worthy of an Oscar nomination. I was glad to see something positive go for him at the end after all the turmoil he went through throughout the movie. It's definitely a must see and worth the investment of time to take in.

man branden came back hitting hard with this movie! he shows us what made him great in the first place! he's not just a pretty face. his performance on this was magnificent and blew all of us away as to how much emotions his lines carried. this was a bit hard to watch in some scenes, but still a great pick up

Everyone brought their best to the table with this one. It's depressing. It's crushing. And it changed my life. If you're someone who is overweight and stuggles to find motivation, this will do it! This movie defeated me and I couldn't love it more. Highly recommend.

The title is so misleading on what you think the movie is about! It was one of the BEST movies I have seen in several years. Spoiler Alert: I cried at the end! Nothing like I thought it would be. It was WAY BETTER!

It's easy to see why Brendan Fraser won an Oscar for this amazing movie! By far the most difficult & heart wrenching story I have ever seen. Highly recommend this masterpiece to everyone!

Hope to see Brendan Fraser returns to Franchises from his Past as Grand films like the The Mummy 1-2 & George in the Jungle would be Happy to see him getting Better as some of you know Keep it Up Mr. FRASER

Loved this movie so much! Absolutely terrific performances all around from the main cast. Would highly recommend this movie to anyone and everyone!

Brendan Fraser's performance in this movie is incredible. Great story about redemption and definetly his best comeback performance as well. Oscar win was well deserved for this role.

The blu ray itself had standard packaging and was in new condition. The film was a very thought provoking emotional drama. Recommend checking it out if you haven't seen the film yet.
