Jack White is a phenomenal guitarist and song writer. This album is a good collection of the greatest hits of the White Stripes.

The White Stripes were the last of the great alternative rock bands to hit the scene in the 2000s. They were a great mix of garage rock, punk & were perfect as college radio favorites. This brother-sister duo gave us avant guard tracks with minimalist use of instruments not heard of since the likes of 80s noise bands such as Sonic Youth. This "best of" release is a definitive anthology giving the listener a satisfying historical overview of this group's existence with its intact 26 tracks. For fans of vinyl, Jack White --a known lover of the musical format, surely outdid himself overseeing the mastering of this modern day double record set, for its one of the best sounding modern day vinyl releases heard. The songs sound rich & vibrant with a live-feel representation of the songs. Only other vinyl album I've heard that was this good released since vinyl has made a comeback is the Rolling Stones BBC live recordings. No matter on mp3 or cd, this is a great retrospect of the White Stripes to listen to, but getting it on vinyl is a special treat that will delight the senses! Absolutely the top "greatest hits" release of 2020. With this past year being one of turmoil on many levels, lovers of rock will be brought much relief and joy via the antidote of music--courtesy of the White Stripes!
