Different view of the wizard of oz very entertaining

My girlfriend loves this movie and wanted me to watch it with her and I enjoyed watching it.

A great family movie. I watched it with my 9 year old daughter and her face came alive. The colors are fantastic; the music is inspiring and the actors are enchanted. It's the kind of movie you want to share with your young children. There's a message about believing in yourself, a message about not being afraid to try things and a message about standing together with friends. I loved this movie. And best of all my other daughter learned some great songs, sung by Diana Ross and Lena Horne - simply fantastic!

The Wiz is a great take on the Wizard of Oz story, this time a movie musical with an all black cast. Diana Ross and Michael Jackson headline the movie which also stars Richard Pryor and Lena Horne. Producer and Composer Quincy Jones helps bring the movie to life with such hits as Ease On Down The Road and Is This What Feeling Gets? I love this movie.

I saw this movie when I was little, so I remember the songs. I'm just collecting anything Michael Jackson right now because there will never be another like him again. He's the greatest and it's best to keep memory of the greatest the best way you can.

Although not as good a Grease, this surely holds up as a movie-musical classic. The music is soulful and full of hope, and the scenery is pretty awesome.

This is a great movie for anyone of any age. I would adivse anyone to ignore all other interpretations of the Wizard of Oz and check this one out.
