Purchased LG OLED 77” TV in June from Easton PA store , as well as BETA PRGRM. Now being told they will not honor parts of the program. Said they changed it two months later. Not sure I can trust BB anymore. Our franchises will no longer use BB until resolution.

The disc was defective. BB wouldn't give me refund, only an exchange. They didn't have any left in stock so they had to give me a refund after I complained.

Packing was iffy but still arrived alright

It arrived in a cardboard box with a plastic air bubble and the Steelbook was sliding around the bottom of it. Still arrived undamaged to both the steel case and disc's but I would have wraped it in something to be more secure. Love the classics!

Perhaps my favorite werewolf film. Lawrence Talbot (Lon Chaney, Jr.) reunites with his father (Claude Rains) in England after spending several years in America. Not long afterward, he befriends a beautiful jewelry store worker (Evelyn Ankers) with whom he goes out with one night. After their brief encounter with gypsies (Maria Ouspenskaya & Bela Lugosi), Talbot is attacked by a wolf. If you have seen any other werewolf film, you probably know what happens next, but those 'cliches' started here. Chaney deservedly became a star with his instantly likeable performance (with great Jack Pierce makeup to go with it). There is also the terrific musical score by Frank Skinner, Hans Salter, and Charles Previn, which Universal would reuse in many other horror pics.

Is Third Time Really The Charm?

I love The Wolf Man. It's my favorite of the Universal Monsters movies. However, having owned two other versions of this movie on DVD, I see no need to revisit these just for a Blu-Ray treatment. This marks the third dip into the well for the classic Universal Monsters series and they're really not offering up anything new across the board except for Blu-Ray treatment. I'm sure the film looks great on Blu-Ray. Having purchased the remastered versions with all of the sequels included (for a steal of a price at Best Buy at $20 a pop) over five years ago, now putting these out as single-disc titles without a boatload of extras to go with them is kind of a cheat to the fans. Not only that, but any good Blu-Ray player will up-convert DVD to an incredible picture. I'm surprised Universal trotted this stuff out again without anything new to add to even make it curious to look into. Didn't anyone learn a lesson from George Lucas' five or six trips down the Star Wars memory lane already?

    Wolfman Not Like Chaney's Original

One of the best parts of the original Wolfman is to watch the face change from Larry Talbot's to the Wolfman's, which is totally absent in this edited version. I remember watching the original as a kid just to see that scary part.
