Great movie have watched it 6 times! The Woman King was very entertaining.

The woman king was the ultimate thrill with an amazing story line.

Really wanted to see this in 4k and was not disappointed at all.

This was a very outstanding movie!! Not only was it entertaining but educational as well! I learned somethings I had not known before! I didn't like the fact of the participation of slavery trade by some Africans tribes but was thankful that that participation was not liked by all African tribes and that there were African tribes that that were against & fought against the slavery trade!! The action and acting was exceptional, the photograohy and costumes were beautiful, the actors and actresses were so believable! This was one of those movies that kept me engaged from start to finish. It was an emotional roller coasters!! A must see for sure!!

This is one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. Certainly the best movie i have seen this year. It plays all the human emotions: passion, joy, fear, anger and hope. Our time on this earth is finite, so when humans are cruel to each other, it's nice to see that sometimes we stand up against tyranny. Viola Davis is a treasure.

This film was criticized, as soonnas the title was announced. I understand the responsibility of film and filmmakers because movies, for better or worse, have been influential on our society. Anyway, the film was enjoyable to me. I don't any historical distortions against it because if we do that, we got to go over Braveheart and other "historical" movies. Best performances are Viola Davis and Lashana Lynch. Picture and Audio quality was good, as usual with a majority of Sony discs. I would recommend to anyone who has an interest. With all due respect, those who don't want to see it cannot be convinced. I'd give the film itself 4 out of 5.

Loved this movie! My store only got 2 in stock, and the original one they pulled had significant damage to the slip cover, but I was fortunate enough to get the second copy they had which was in perfect condition so they allowed me to swap it out which was nice. Highly recommend this film.

Superb acting that brought true historical facts regarding Dahomey, Africa! Casting was on point and this movie will rivet the viewer to the screen. The 4K Blu Ray disc was visually and aurally outstanding, deeming this disc a showcase for your home theatrer system!

This movie is truly a piece worth watching. Digs deeper into histrionic events we know all to well but this gives bigger sight in the drama snd actions in Africas history. Im glade yo enjoy this movie with my family and girlfriend who enjoy history or culture.

Excellent movie!!! The movie was very well done. Not too gory but the movie made the point. Viola davis was excellent as well as her contributing actors. We watched this movie at least three times as a family.

An excellent movie! It provides historical information regarding a topic typically unknown to most. The 4K format provides an excellent viewing experience, both visually and sonically.

I didn't see this in the theater because of the negative reviews it received...it made me cry. Excellent story and an insight into the struggle of the African people.
