If you're an X-files fan, you'll like this new series. Although I enjoyed Season 10, there was some criticism about it. It was a bit uneven and it was too short of a series to develop the main story arc. Season 11 is better developed and fun to watch.

I have to say after years of having to watch the older ones these new ones are a great refresh to the series it doesn’t skip a beat lots of drama and creepy at times highly recommended.

Sadly, unless Gillian Anderson changes her mind about continuing her role, this will be the final season of X-Files. Still entertaining to the last...

While the packaging is quite bare-bones, the content is great for fans of the franchise. It would be a nice addition to any collection.

Great that the X-Files team came back with more X-Files episodes. There were some key plots that had to be explored and they did it!!

The order came on time and the DVD works great. We love it.

I grew up with the x-files. I remember the scary looking teaser trailer for the very first episode with the high school kids in oregon being abducted by aliens. I remember reading the daily ratings listing in the newspaper (yes, back then the internet was just in its infancy and newspapers were the powerhouse medium for news). The ratings were never great, but they were strong enough to get a second season and then things began taking off. Seasons 3-5 + the first movie "Fight the Future" are considered the peak of the series, with the last few years not being good. So it was with great anticipation and excitement came this and the other event series (10) but...sadly...this collection of episodes on this 3 disc DVD is a mixed bag. If you watched the season 10 finale...prepared to be COMPLETELY lost during the opening show. I mean, completely. There's NO way this was the plan, but then plans change I guess. The second and third episode are much better, but still a pale shadow of the show. The good news is that the mythology elements of these shows are less and less as you move forward and they become more stand alone episodes centering around the monster or issue of the week. And by episode 4 it's like spending time with old friends again. Mulder and Scully are back! The show pokes fun at itself, the show is scary as heck, the show is mean and kills off kids and then it proceeds to be as gross and gory as possible (seriously, what a fun and disgusting new take on vampires). The show could have ended there. It SHOULD have ended there. No one would have cared that the William threads were still dangling because that final "series finale" episode was so awful that...metaphors fail me. It made sense from a narrative perspective, although it wasted WAY too much time with mulder grimacing as he speds in his cool silver mustang. Scully weeps by the phone and weeps in the FBI office. Skinner...oh man. There aren't words to describe what happens to him other than...why? Forced closure is usually not as good as leaving things open ended. And while the show is over, it was left open ended. But there was so much damage done in this last episode...then again, maybe what happened was really just a dream. It worked for the first episode of the show. So, final verdict. Episodes 1 and 10, terrible. 2-9 varying between solid and great. So overall? If you're an x-files fan, you've already picked this up and probably enjoyed it even in the awful moments. If you weren't an x-files fan, there's nothing here to change your mind.

I was happy to see the return if the X-Files the storylines were just as great as they were before when it originally ended. The ending of the season left us with bit of a cliffhanger as it’s bit a great ending & an opportunity for the show to continue.

Seems to have lost the momentum/joy from season 10. But overall, it is still better than most things on TV.

After ""The Event" I figured we were done. This was a nice surprise and I loved it. All X-Files fans will love this as it has a great array of episodes much like the event did.

I have been a fan of the X-Files since it debuted 25 years ago (1993)! I own all 11 seasons on DVD. I think season 11 was better than season 10. Episode 7 was my favorite. I highly recommend this TV show.

Watched X-Files from first viewing. This continuation into Season 11 just makes them better.

Great tv show it’s a must have, to complete your collection, this series has aged well, a must get.

It really was a very good series ending recommended to family and friends.

What a great show to binge watch. One of the best ones ever made. A must see.
