You either get it or you don't. The X-Files, rightfully, transformed television as we know it. Today, it is easy to forget the effect this show had upon the landscape of serial entertainment. Many of the shows today would not be successful if it were not for the imaginative story telling of this show. The X-Files had it all, character, story and pace. The third season continues the juggernaut of exciting television that everyone else wishes they could emulate. Mulder and Scully are truly one of the greatest duos of all time.

Here we are with Season 3! Deeper mysteries, more monsters, and of course your favorite agents Mulder and Scully! As far as the transfer - it is excellent on blu-ray, they definitely took a lot of care or what care they could with the early seasons which did not air on television in HD. The sound is equally just as good. If you're an X-Files fan, its a must buy. New comers usually enjoy it as well.

Everything starts to fall into place in season 3 as the ramifications of Scully's season 2 abduction start to come to light and the stakes are raised to deadly heights for both Mulder and Scully. The partnership is tested through adversity, loss, and shocking twists, but Mulder & Scully emerge every more determined and dedicated to find the Truth. A fabulous season that is delivered in stunning clarity with these discs!

It was pretty fantastic to relive my X-Files memories in this bluray collection. The special features were great. Everything is as I remember it. Great addition to any collection. Season 3 is my absolute favorite with some truly inspired episodes that will burn into your memory. Some funny and some creepy you get a little bit of everything.

Excellent. As the seasons of X-Files go along, there is added depth, not only in learning additional things about the characters, but also in the complexity of the background conspiracies.

Picked up the individual seasons on sale at Best Buy. Being an owner of the DVD version of the series, it's AMAZING the transfer to Blu Ray. Almost felt new watching the series again in the format. If you grew up loving the X-Files, pick up the Blu Ray versions of the season...definitely worth the money!

The picture quality in the remastered blu-rays puts the old, barely above-VHS quality of the DVDs to shame. The show remains the same, top-notch TV it's always been. At this price, it was difficult not to buy every other season!

This show was amazing on TV and lead the way to the shows we have now like Supernatural. I thought that being on Blu-ray the quality might degrade but it didn't. It was clear and crisp and I have enjoyed every second of the episodes and reliving the memories.

If you need a reason to re-watch "The X-Files" for the nth time, this Blu-ray release serves quite well. The show looks better than ever in widescreen and the extra audio options allow you to practice your own foreign language skills. Highly recommended.

So happy to finally get the X-files series on Blu-ray! This is a must have for anybody that loved the series and released just in time to re-watch the old episodes before the new series starts.

The GOAT of TV series in my opinion. Sure, like most things it tailed off in the end but that does not take away from the greatness of the first several seasons (this one included). Definite upgrade over the DVDs.

The X-Files season 3 finds the show really hitting its stride on storylines, characters & acting. If you aren't hooked by this season, you probably never will be.

Lots of "Monster of the Week" episodes, and the series starts to show how John Q. Public does not really trust the government. Blu-ray picture quality makes these a pleasure to watch on a big screen.

I never got to watch the whole series when it first came out because I was too young to understand it but now I'm watching all of it and am loving it

This season starts off where we believe Mulder is dead because he has gone missing. Will Scully find him in order to explain to Mulder that she still finds holes in everything that he believes in?

I ended up getting the collectors box set as well but these in general are great too. Man I have been waiting forever for them to release these....

This is probably one of the best shows ever made and one of the best seasons. I love it on blu ray: adds a lot to the detail of the show.
